Great recipe ,but for more health we should not heat seeds because the seeds oils damaged,2. Almond soaked and remove brown skin because it has physical acids prevent absorption’s of minerals like calcium, dates as sweetener and binder is rich with too much sugar and many people are diabetics or prediabetics .Hope you can experiment with these suggestions and see if taste good.Thank you

You could try using a 'raw cracker' recipe using the seeds they give in this video, soaked for 6 hours or so, or make your own uniquely flavored biskets or crackers and dehydrated in a dehydrator or if you don't have one of those, you could dry them out in a hot car on a sunny day or in the oven or a rack above the fire-box. Taking all moister out of these flattened balls, makes them last longer. Grind the flax seeds to make it all stick together. For a hearty version use un onion and garlic and a teaspoon of salt instead of dates. They become like clay and thus they make great playing material in the hands of your kids. Have fun with your food.

@@SweetChicagoGator I generally think that its best to not over heat them either because of the omega 3's in them. But with the flax seeds you could grind them uncooked...they can still be part of the recipe. I personaly wouldnt pan heat walnuts either...again due to the vilatile omega 3's. If you heat them you damage the omega 3's and its not healthy to consume them afterwards. 🤗

In order for these balls or laddos to be effective you have to give up added sugar completely that means no honey, no maple syrup no jaggery no sugar. You also have to give up refined flour, fried food, white rice, cheesy heavy food and eat in portion control. Also you can't eat junk or processed foods. These balls are good for replacing sugar in your diet for the days you get sugar cravings. Have no more than two. I make similar balls and also add toasted oats in their as well. After making changes to my diet and eating two balls for breakfast each morning I am loosing weight of 2 pounds a week. The balls on their own will do nothing if you don't make other changes to your diet. You should also exercise for 40 mins daily.

Consuming the balls alone will not make you loose weight. You have to make a complete lifestyle change in order to loose weight. Part of the lifestyle change can be replacing added sugar with these balls. Eat no more than 2 balls a day. They will last up to 3 weeks in the fridge.

Some foods need to be cooked to a certain temperature to maximize digestion and nutritional intake. The side benefit is taste. Especially with dark greens for example. Broccoli, spinach etc... have phytic acid in them. Phytic acid inhibits the stomach from digesting and absorbing nutrients. Causing some gastrointestinal discomfort bloating and gas. However cooking or wilting with steam to 118°f nullifies the effect of the phytic acid.

  • @jftube3333

@@MichaelJohnson-mo4em What are you talking about? Did you watch this video? Nobody is cooking Broccoli or Spinach in this video. It's all nuts & seeds that are being put in a pan. Why is that necessary to roast in a pan? It's all nuts & seeds. Just mix them all together & grind them, & you get the same little balls at the end.
