As someone who bought the original starter decks back in the day I think a rerelease would be very cool and could have sold well considering the LOB rerelease sold out like crazy. Something I think would be cool also though is a product for each character with the original SD and also a brand new "competitive" build version of the deck in the same product. Modern build, about as good as you can make it, for a Dark Magician, Blue Eyes, Red Eyes, and Toon w/Relinquished deck. Then you and your buddy pick some up and you can play the old version against the new to see how much the game has grown and changed, play against friends with the old ones to reminisce, and play against friends with the new ones to see how the game has changed. Could be an interesting way to combine the old with the new for the 25th anniversary, but considering theyve already been doing this for over a year and a half maybe we can get something like that for year 3 of the 25th anniversary. New one could also showcase new mechanics, new rarity treatments like QCR, depending on how loyal theyll let the original be they could show differences in how the text is written, include some of the newer alt arts, newer versions of cards from back in the day that have been updated(like lighting storm, twin twister, cosmic, different pots), and just a bunch of stuff to make players be like "wow, this is cool, this game looks like its gotten even more interesting"

In general, there was so much more that could've been done for the 25th Anniversary line. The reprinted booster boxes was an excellent start, but now, we just see 25th Anniversary slapped on everything with QC Secret Rares as potential pulls. It just doesn't really scream "Get excited! It's Yu-Gi-Oh's Anniversary!" to me, especially where we had Starlight Rares ultimately holding the exact same spot. 🤷‍♂️

For a while now I've wanted a cool time wizard product that would reprint competitive cards from old formats because some of those cards have gotten really pricey. I was thinking it would be an all ultra set and the chase rarity would be a "retro ultra rare" which would look like the older lighter borders they used to use from DM-5DS era. Like imagine pulling a sky striker engage or thunder dragon colosus in that style, plus getting reprints like substitoad and delinquent duo etc.

I have not played Yugioh in forever, at least physically. I'll occasionally get on master duel and hate myself later but I think an interesting product they could do is a deck with cards based off the Monster World RPG they played back in the original manga but I would also take something along the lines of: making a fully playable Celtic Guardian deck or going the meme route, fully playable Beaver Warrior. I mean, it's such an iconic card

Bring Back the Legendary Decks, i loved those funky little 3 packs. 1st: DM Villain Collection- Pegasus Deck with Toons and Relinquished that utilizes the new support those Archetypes have gotten. a Marik Deck full of the New Winged Dragon of Ra support. and a Bakura Deck with Destiny Board, Dark necrofear, Zorc, etc. and maybe include some promo cards based Dartz and Zigfried for lols. 2nd: Movie Villain Collection- Anubis' Sphinxes from Pyramid of Light, Paradox' Malefics from Bonds Beyond Time and Aigami's Cubics from Dark Side of Dimensions. 3rd: Six Samurai Collection- 1st deck is OG Six Sams, 2nd Deck is Legendaries, 3rd deck is Secrets. reprint at least 1 of every single Six Sam support card across the 3 decks. on the subject of starter/structure decks, i miss when those came out as paired releases. used to be fun to buy a pair and play them out of the box against a friend. i think a Mayakashi vs Shiranui pair of structure decks could be fun.

If Konami ever ventures into printing Valon's armor cards and Allister's militia cards, a Legendary Dragon's arc villain box would be a fun idea 🤙

The gambourd edition holds a special place in my heart as my first yugioh product

If I could do everything I want would I properly translate and re-release a good chunk of the franchises catalog of old games (thankfully Konami is finally doing something like this) And it its card game related. Make a Toon Archetype that is all new original cards based on the "Funny Bunny" cartoon that in-universe of the manga and Anime inspired Pegasus to make the Toon cards in the first place. Obviously with tons of references to classic loony toons gags.

Personally I'd like a legendary decks set for main villain decks, and make them completely revamped for the modern game. if we're going by show era then for the DM era I'd want the decks to be for Pegasus, Bakura/Zorc, and Dartz. For the Zorc deck I'd like to see a mix of yami Bakura's deck at the end of the series and archetypal retrains/support of Dark Master - Zorc, and with Dartz konami needs to stop being cowards and give us the upgraded Seals of Orichalcos and let players try a 10 monster zone board.

Completions for incomplete sets solely for collection purposes, idc if they're good or not lol I love the Monarchs though so Megas for the other Monarchs and mixes of the other Monarchs like the recent Thestalos would be dope.

I'd make an Ancient Gear box where the cards are sealed inside an actual Ancient Gear.

I never understood why they didn’t give Mai a starter deck even though she was one of the 4 legendary duelists according to the manga (I think).

I'd want to see some sort of blu-ray/4k remaster of the yugioh duel monsters (maybe gx) anime. Dub or Sub, doesnt matter. Maybe even throw in a card in the disc box to make people *really* get it. Maybe Exodia, since its from the first episode idk. Maybe even include some behind the scenes stuff, doesnt have to be a full documentary or anything but a sorta "how did we get here" video on how the card game went from niche, to beating pokemon tcg in sales, back to being niche. Gotta definitely include interviews with Kazuki Takahashi, even if none were included, showing written responses from previous (relevant) interviews would be mandatory. As for the anime itself, you'd want at minimum to have Duelist Kingdom and Battle City. But having all of Duel Monsters re-mastered in 4k 60fps would be amazing. If they want to go reallllllyyy above and beyond, they could even match the sub video/anime without the censorship with the dub voice acting. They did that with like, 5 anime episodes for a rare dvd release and then just...stopped?

I was actually pretty shocked to see that there isn't anything official that covers this. Content Creators have kind of held the torch, as far as video documentation of the history of the game, but I'd be interested to see from the inside of how everything came to be! And a special promo card with the DVD is always a nice touch!

Meh, I never thought about stuff like that. I only think about random archetype supports (where is my Meteor Dragon archetype... Oh, right, in Rush Duels) or imma more anime exclusives in playable format. What if we could just get a box full of cards with every card used in a certain arc. A lot of old cards, useful and useless alike can be printed. Maybe some cards that never made it over can make it in like Escargon or whatever that level 5 1500 atk snail thunder monster is called and anime/manga exclusive cards. I mean, Konami, the classic fans won't live forever... just print the Armor Cards already. We can have: - Batte City Pak: Cards used by Yugi, Weevil, Joey, Kaiba, Pegasus, Bakura, Ghost guy, Bandit Keigh, Tea, Mai, Rex, Pain, Kaiba's Ghost, Marko Tsunami, Kaiba's briefcase, Mokuba, Rebecca, Duke Devlin and since we count filler, some cards from the virtual world like Dragon Master Knight. I need my Mamoth Graveyard Ultimate Dragon Fusion. - Battle City Pak: Yugi, Mai, Kaiba, the hollywood star, Marko, Weevil, Rex's Serpent Night Dragon, Bandit Keith, Exodia guy, Mime dude, Arcana with his alternate art Dark Magician, Mai, Marik, Odin, Isshisu, Espa Roba Virtual World arc: Yugi, Sirenity, Big 5... you get the point. I really want that Meteor Dragon Structure Deck tho. Why can't we have cards that make old cool cards viable and not outclassed with boring retrains. Heck, Rush Duels even has Spark support. Can we get an archetype surrounding Spark? Spark deserves Sparkheart Girl.

Like ur idea for the "reloaded" Pegasus deck take the legendary duelist packs n instead make decks with more support for certain characters like how they did with jack n in general just bring straight up character deck backs like maybe even combined them with the power up pack idea n inducle manga cards / reprints. On characters n anime/manga products,More sleeves deck box and tins would be nice. And playmat that arent made from paper or cardboard A manga version of the "animation chronicle" so we can rush out the manga cards etc yet to be printed that reasonably should be printed by now. Something like the legendary collection/ the yugi joey n kaiba Where its mainly focus on giving cards rarity upgrades especially cards used by or meant for characters. I like more character n structure deck reloads

Honestly, I wouldn't even be too upset if they weren't the most competitively viable. I don't feel that characters decks need to be.

Konami needs to make draftable sets holy shit. Draftable sets that aren't just battle packs with the most generic reprints possible, even though i'd take those as well. Deckbuild packs are already a great baseline because they contain both new archetypes and more generic reprints that are relevant to those archetypes, so you could theoretically build a functional deck from just opening those boosters, so why don't they tweak them just a little bit for draft events? Magic the Gathering structures every set like this and it's one of the most beloved and skillful formats in that game, and from a business perspective, even if a set doesn't have new meta cards, draft events will sell product.

A draft set could serve as a new player introductory product since it's low power level and you can play it without having a deck of your own. In subtle ways it also helps constructed play because limited formats help find synergies and highlight undiscovered cards. It also just gives a purpose to pack filler. What's the last time you thought about Asset Mountis or Digit Jamming? Probably sneak peak because they were some of the best cards at their events and you'd have to keep them in mind constantly. These sneak events being the only official limited yugioh formats with some stores not even bothering and instead offering constructed tournaments is a shame because it's the most different and imo exciting gameplay feel you'll ever get from this game should the meta become tiring and it's only four times a year.

I'm 100% in support of draft sets! However, I think Konami would need to a lot more with it or it will fail because the game today just isn't draftable without making a specially curated pool of cards. Even small scale events to accompany standard local tournaments and up the ante on the idea progressing to each further level up through Worlds.

I've wanted new horus cards since I was a kid. I drew horus lv 10, a filed spell, and cute little copy of b chick. My friends let me use them amd we had fun. They finally released support that's awesome but I wanted better retrains and dragon versions like red eyes or armed dragon cards. The sons are amazing but unrelated so here we wait. It's always been my favorite card and I want a complete meta relevant power house of a deck

We have MORE THAN ENOUGH dark magician, blue eyes, red eyes, and stardust dragon and red dragon archfeind support. I want cards like black rose dragon, ancient fairy dragon and other side characters from the anime to get more support and boss monster upgrades. They show a lot of favoritism towards certain cards, but I know people would love to see less popular decks get more support. I personally would love to see more Battle Wasp support because I think they are a really cool archetype but they barely have any support if anything they could be the next Black Wings, if konami plays their cards right. Pun intended, lol Or the Aqua actress cards from Arc V. I thought it was a really cool idea, but they did nothing with it. 😭

I'd make "Yugioh-Kids" - simplified cards - simplified rules - new format - new anime The current fanbase is growing older and older. The Game needs to get a few new Players from the younger Generation but it is way to complicated and unattractive for Children. Even if they manage to learn the rules there's dozens of boosters and they all have almost no cross booster synergy so if you buy random boosters you might waste a lot of money and still be unable to build a deck which is why kids mostly if not always stay to structure decks So, what would I do? First, I'd make a new format, The Cards should look similair but different It should be very obvious and clear by their look that they are from a different version/format of the game (speed duel was very confusing) Then I'd make the artworks slightly bigger, and the ATK and DEF boxes too and I'd use very simple effects and clarify exactly - what is cost/condition - what is effect. To work towards balancing and against power creep I'd have a set max. atk/def level cap value that cards can't surpass (without effects) For example: 4000 = Max. ATK/DEF Level 11-12 3500 = Max. ATK/DEF Level 9-10 3000 = Max. ATK/DEF Level 7-8 2500 = Max. ATK/DEF Level 5-6 2000 = Max. ATK/DEF Level 3-4 1500 = Max. ATK/DEF Level 1-2 Then, let's say the Anime has about 6-8 important characters (it needs at least 6 for variety) I'd make a *character structure deck* for every single one of these main characters. These *character decks* should consist exclusively of cards used by their character in the anime (No random stuff, only stuff that the character actually used) and they should be balanced like extremely balanced especially the boss monsters, like they should all be able to out each other not one who's clearly stronger than the others... and they should feel complete like they should have the characters ace monster, their low level monsters and their mid level monsters so you can just buy it and then roleplay as your favourite character from the show with all his important cards. Now you're probably thinking: But what about the Boosters? I'd produce the first arc of this anime as a 2 part piece, that has the second half drop a little while after the first half aired So at first, there's only character decks and they only use these cards in the show, then when part 2 is out, they use a few new support cards for their decks, maybe even get a 2nd boss each deck Here I'd introduce Character Boosters, that each support 2-4 characters specifically with these exact newly used and introduced cards Like the boosters should have the characterd in their name and front-art, so that children will immediately recognize what booster contains what characters cards This greatly helps the child with deciding what booster to buy. So the Character decks aren't incomplete, the boosters just add onto what's already there, basically being deck modification packs for the specific characters Then I'd also make a booster that specifically contains cards, that none of the main-characters used. This one shall contain side character cards and/or at least 1 full new buildable archetype deck that wasn't used in the show, to make the child feel unique, like it's their own deck and not one of the characters. This may sound like a lot but this concept is very similair to Rush Duel which actually did a lot of what I mentioned I still hope, it will come to the west We need a "Yugioh Kids" Version And Speed Duel sadly but definetely failed...

I am 100% for this! We need more methods that are less aggressive to aid in inducting new players that still have the potential to transition them to the 'real' game, for lack of a better term.

So reloaded decks, I'd like to see character decks where we can get 2 decks of fan favorite characters. I'd like them to do character votes, but the characters can be from different eras. I'd like them to be at a level between Starter decks and structures decks, playable but not meta rouge. And common and rare rarity. Take Cyrus's vehicroid archetype they're F tier deck what's a patch that could bump them up to at least high D? A generic Connection zone target, a Rota, simple extenders, and etc. what if you want the newer cards at super or ultra rarity? That where sets can hook you in like animation chronicles with cards that bump them to C or low B tier. Now for what I mean about seeing you like Pegasus, why not a voted Cyrus vs Pegasus boxes. We both get guaranteed support/retrains and reprints. Lastly bundles and made to order, wanna buy three decks you can get 5$ off. Since back stock is an issue for stores nowadays for yugioh why not make them made to order? Like 5 unreserved copies per store, and then made to order products to participating stores within a set time frame. This would also kinda fix the scalping issue and inflated values.

RCAA Triple Platinum Certified Record Rarity aside, the Noble Knight box is my favorite product of all time. I really wish they'd do another one like it. A completely decked out Ghost Rare Ghostrick Deck would be AMAZING!

I really wanna make my own Speed Duel 5Ds Box. Just like the other Speed Duel Boxes, it will feature 8 decks. Mostly based on the early season of 5Ds with some newer Cards sprinkled in there.

Why do they not make a legendary decks but for the 6 protags (nobody cares for sevens)? Similar to Legendary Decks 2 but slightly updated and upgraded. Maybe 3-5 extra deck cards, maybe some artwork redesigns... blah blah blah. Maybe manga versions? Idk but idk why konami hasnt even considered it

Great idea! I'd love to see fully functioning archetypes based around a singular normal monster that have an overarching story through a bunch of functionally unrelated cards.

i think more than anything, i'd love more manga to be made for the different archetypes finding out what in the actual fuck is going on with black luster soldier would be nice i'd also love more figurines to be made, not statues mind you, we have enough of those i want fully poseable figurines, and i want GOOD poseable figurines, the blue eyes one we have is straight GARBAGE with how low it's articulation is

Shit! Hadn't even thought about stuff outside of the card game 🤦‍♂️ I'd love to see stories dedicated to archetypes, even in a Manga series that reuses some of the card artwork, but adds deeper lore. And better figurines would be fantastic. I can only enjoy the Blind Bags and statues so much lol

@@burblebineabbletv it's honestly just so fucking weird to me that they don't lean into it harder, cause there are just SO many yugioh monsters that would work wonders as figurines one i've been thinking about a lot is gren maju, it's basically the only thing i play in modern yugioh and i think he'd be splendid as a model kit, pulling off cool flying poses with an extremely poseable tail
