I agree - I find this really difficult myself. I am just not sure that mop brushes are for beginners. I still find them tricky. Also there is a lot going on in the brushstrokes (and the control of water in the brush) that gives that effect. There is ALOT going on here that I bet is just instinct for Niaz. But I believe putting mileage on the brush will bring you there. Practice!

he's using cold press, cold press paper will give u a nice texture and its what most watercolor artists prefer to use so dont be too down about it. hot press is also a great paper, for landscapes especially, so its still worth getting next time. what brand did u order?

Although I have never actually tried.. I think I will be useless at watercolour. I just don't get how one can make a decent painting out of a wet puddle of mess. This alone completely puts be off from even trying. Maybe my mind is just not abstract enough and too literal and logical.Oil painting on the other hand makes SO much sense to me.

You can't make a decent painting out of a "wet puddle of mess". But with practice, you will understand the effects of paint to water ratios on various surfaces. It's all about water control. Watercolor is the most difficult painting medium. But it allows creativity you cannot enjoy painting with oils or acrylics.

It's not about the finished result, you should try to enjoy the process and let all the mistakes happen. Eventually you will find yourself having better results on every single painting you do. Watercolor is not a forgiving colour so you should have a plan before you start painting, a good sketching is always recommended for good watercolor painting and of course you need to go through all the mistakes so that you can plan better.

Silly title.

i understand the title isnt meant to be taken seriously, but its such a dumb title, wouldve been fine if it was implemented comedically or satirically but it doesnt do either. if u want to scare people away from using watercolour then i can understand why you'd use this title, but ur also a channel that's meant to be teaching watercolour so its comes off as very hypocritical.
