I love it. This reminds me a bit of when I was really young, there was an artist at a mall my mum and I went to who used our thumbprint and another finger and used a fine liner to turn it into an animal. I had a cat done, my mum a little mouse. Wish I still had those, they got lost when I moved house last summer. 😔

OK - confession - I have 4 cats and one cat who lives outside - he thinks he lives here and he gets breakfast and supper, soooo...guess I am a "crazy old cat lady". Three are tuxedo's and the other indoor is a soft, peachy colour...when he sits, and you see him from behind he looks like a gourd. Yes, you might say he is a little overwieght. I prefer to call him "fluffy: lol - I think I could make this easily enough in the peach colour. He is actually my son's cat who is not living here anymore and he REALLY misses him...hope it works out. All that being said, I LOVE your fluffy black cat! She looks quite pleased with herself!

This is so beautiful! Thank you for allowing us to see every part of the process. Tomorrow I am painting cats! I use my fingers all the time on watercolor, oil, acrylic and find them to do exactly what I cannot get the brush to do.

Such a cute kitty! I have a VERY overweight black cat! His name is Septimus, and he has 7 toes on one front foot and six on the other. 😮Probably 24 pounds now, and he doesn’t even eat that much. Got my supplies out now and am about to Ty this project for myself. Thanks for the tutorial!

Lol! Possibly. It was the spawn of a stray we took in. All but one of the kittens had extra appendages. I’ve now painted 3 of your cats, btw. Practice practice practice!

Good question, there's nothing stopping you from using whatever color you choose :)
