That's why even aggressive genres like Death Metal have their melodic subgenres. The melody is always there.
I'm now convinced that Marty wrote his solo whilst listening to Hotel California, because it almost fits HC better than Tornado of Souls
This worked so well, really reminded me of Marty's slower solo stuff, his note choices are so good. So recognisable as Marty.
I am not exaggerating when I say this, but this is the greatest thing I have seen in quite a while. Cheers Bradley 🤟🏼

The first part was cool, and then you blew us away with tornado over hotel!!! It fits surprisingly well! You should do tons more solo swaps like this!!
Bro the way you went in on that first bend of the Tornado of Souls solo over Hotel California was fire! 🔥 It took me back to the first time I listened to Marty’s magic! Listening to it being played over a different song feels like re living that experience again. Good shit! 👏🏽
Wow! They both fit so beautifully together. Nicely done, mate!
It's insane how well it fits, if you had never heard either of these songs you would suspect nothing!

I think it's because both songs are written in the key of B Minor. That's why.
Gotta love how creative Bradley Hall is with his megadeth content-it just keeps on giving. So crazy how perfectly it works.

Tornado of Souls base with Hotel California solo is true Magic
This was absolutely amazing!! Love both the songs and the two solos switched up well together!! Great Job 👏
The Hotel California solo also fits perfectly over comfortably numb.

Marty’s solo sounded great with Hotel California. I’d love to see more of these.
The solo for Hotel California could be played in any style and it’s still amazing!!
It's a little bit too scary how this works.
I'd love a cover band idea that has the same concept. Putting other songs solos over classics. That'd be super interesting. Legit great video idea and execution.

The hotel solo over tornado was good, but Marty’s over hotel was incredible! Obviously, it’s Marty, so his solo’s gonna come out on top over just about anyone in history, but they’re both still good
this is crazy genius lol the music almost tricks you in to thinking you are hearing the other solo, both work great lol.
GENIUS!!! both solos sound great, especially tornado of souls
That’s incredible mate!! They actually sound great in each context 🤯🤘🤘🤘
Fantastic creativity and execution! Superb insight to cross these songs over 👏🏻
Two of my top five favorite solos switched and it sounds amazing. Best thing I saw in a while.
Really appreciate that you changed the notes that would’ve clashed. Shows a deep understanding of what you’re doing.
This was ridiculous and absolutely delightful. I want more of this.
Dude this is an ingenious idea, please make more!

Hearing them side by side like that you can hear the influence the Hotel California solo had on guitarists, Tornado of Souls definitely has some of that DNA. Love how well it fits.
I love this. This dude is not only insane talented, but also really creative to put together this mashup.
Incredible work!!! Both solos work extremely well on both songs!! :0
I never realized how similar the two are! What a find, such great execution. It's nice to see more of your talented instead of mostly the funnies. Keep on at it, mate!
This is legitimately brilliant work. I don't know what else to say except there's at least one veteran Bass player in awe of your skill, it's beyond the guitar alone.
Please, do more of this. Holy cow this is brilliant!
That's really crazy cool stuff, dude! Ingenious!
Tornado of Souls has one of the best guitar solos ever in my opinion, it's also crazy how well it works with Hotel California
Marty Friedman...what a tastefull player...
I've seen many mashups on KZread but this one is definitely top tier, great job !
I'm impressed. I never thought of how well the solos blended into differing arrangements. That's actually pretty fucking sick.

I always wondered what that would sound like lol. Well done sir. ps your technique is smooth it's ridiculous, such an amazing musician
This is undoubtedly one of the best pieces of guitar playing you have ever done. Bravo sir.
Dam.........thats a dam good way to practice tornado of souls solo. Its slow enough to really get it down and it gives the perfect vibe to really nail the feel that Marty uses. Dude.......thanks for this gem
This is so cool! Massive props for making this!
