Two points: speed is relative, JM had no stick at 770. This dude struggled in a suit with 760. Two, JM perform on the platform, I don’t believe those plates are even real. Bottom line, check what he did in a suit, on the platform. It’s much more difficult to cheat there.

This exactly shows whats wrong with the joke equipped lifting, so really good video produced by you. We can see Daniel does single play he does 336kg/740lbs and 345kg/760lbs he controls them and lowers them superslow and looks like has problem lowering the bar all the way. Then he switches to raw does 300kg/661lbs with no bench shirt, he lowers the weight superslowed and controlled but the second 90 degrees or a bit before that happens the bar just drops on top of him cause he doesn't have the power at bottom to control the bar cause he is used to get help by equipment we can see it on both reps and we see on hes second rep hes leg even starts shaking. This is why equipped is a joke and should never exist, wasting lots of money on equipment and always remeber to use it and in the end you turn weaker...

@John Smith Oh really? ^.- Why is hes leg shaking then on second rep? Cause if he has the power and he lost no power in the range of motion then why is he doing 45kg lighter all the sudden? If the bench press shirt doesn't help especially at the bottom why does hes bench go from 345kg to 300kg only? ^.- Also why would he train in that way? It's totally going against what he wants to achieve he has become weak in the bottom of range of motion cause using shirt and you saying that he does bench in a way that will let the weakness stay there? Also most powerlifting competition i seen nobody does that cause i think you have to control the bar all the way, so if this technique is not allowed (most likely) in competition why would he train this way or you mean he is not gonna compete anymore even if it is said in video he is gonna compete raw? ^.-

Also even the person himself he is doing that style how do we not know they just using it to cover up? Do you know is this guy got an youtube channel or instagram? :D

Not in the world. There aren't even alot of 225 lbs bench pressers in the world - lol. The average man on the street can't waltz in and bench 225 lbs. That's why I think weightlifters don't get the credit they deserve. You can walk-in on a game of basketball, soccer, baseball without much risk of injury. But it you try to walk-in on a weightlifting competition you need to be well trained. My friend benched 225 easily for reps from age 18 to early 30s. Now he's in his mid 40s, without training, tried to get 225 and failed. He said back in the day he told himself, "I will always be able to rep 225."

I'm not fully convinced the lift is real. I've never seen that brand of plates before. The bar should be flexing more with 325kg loaded. Also, he benched 300kg×2 at RPE 10, but 325kg is RPE 6? Seems questionable to me.

Progression isnt always linear. Maybe sounds like a cop out but what about Karo or whatever his name's deadlift progression recently.....similar circumstance. I myself have been better at programming some of my own lifts and have made faster progress than usual so it does seem weird but it is possible whether because of drugs, lifestyle or programming can speed up at times.

    > The bar should be flexing more with 325kg loaded. Not really. At least not if it's a good bar. Look at Kiril's lifts. The bar was also not bending at a 300+ kg. Good IPF approved bars have barely if any flex to them at those weights.

Dude trains in an equipped gym, so there's a good chance that's actually one of the 55lb bars they use for shirted competition. Those things barely bend with 400+ on them.
