I have a old schwinn so i have the square tapered crank shaft and the crank arm is a bitch for me to find so i slapped sum high heat fast setting jb weld to do the job bc at this point im just getting a whole new crank set with crank bearings and all

Depending on the "quality" and cost of this crank arm you'd think they'd of had steel incerts already installed.

Hello,, I have a Raleigh cyclocross road bike, I fixed peddals extenders 16mm however badly the left crank arm has been broken at the peddals locations but after using three months is that reason for that failure or not?? Regards

I have a $200 bike with the threads completely stirpped. A new crank arm is almost $100, & installation would be at least $50. I'm considering whether I should just buy a new bike.
