I actually missed out on a lot of these movies as a child. I've only seen Spirited Away when I was little, and revisiting them now has made me appreciate the beauty of these films. Hayao Miyazaki is an absolute genius film maker, and Joe Hisaishi is an amazing film composer and also one of my favorites. They bring their films to life in a way I haven't seen in any other movies.
This was this year's "big medley" and hardest project I've worked on yet. Every time I make one of these medleys, they are always drastically improved since the last one. In my previous medley, "If Disney Was Metal", I changed the key of almost all the songs to D minor with a few exceptions because my guitar was tuned to drop D and that was just the most simple way to do it. This time, however, I changed the key of each song differently depending on what the lowest bass note is in the original. This made the task of coming up with a transition remarkably harder, since I had to change key with every song. The riffs I wrote were also a lot more complex than just power chords or palm muted chugging. Last but not least, the production approach was completely different and far more advanced than the previous medleys.

Spirited Away is the most beautiful and greatest movie of all time for me 😭❤ When I always think of Haku I cry because he is a character to me who has suffered a lot, and so beautiful and...this film is so sad and beautiful at the same time...TwT Romanticism is so perfect in this film, Haku & Chihiro, Haku i love you forever 😭😭😭❤ (i so sad to this movie + nostalgia, my favorite ❤)

While I know you've touched up more of the popular pieces of Miyazaki's films and Hisaishi's Themes, I would still like to hear pieces from Princess Mononoke, Whisper of the Wind, Kiki's Delivery service, and a new film that I recommend watching that came out several months ago, Your name. maybe you could make Ghibli medley Part 2? If you have the time that is. I can imagine how much time and effort it takes to make one of these, arranging the pieces, and possibly transposing a piece into a different key and all, but if you could that would be great! Studio Ghibili is one of my favorite animation studios, and you shredded all my favorite ones especially the Ponyo theme. I believe Ponyo is a very under rated film. Thanks for making me the happiest person hearing this. One question is did you happen to make maybe a stand alone one for Howl's Moving Castle theme? Thanks and I also subbed.
