+kaira perez That may be true but Disgaea D2 starts right after Disgaea1. Disgaea 2 starts 3 years after Disgaea1 so it's possible Sicily is present at the Castle.

if only they made an anime with current graphics... D2 graphics. the Anime would be great, i'd hope it would be as intense as their openings, huge scaled battles with immense amounts of energy used.. hilarious ways to battle, all time scaled wrecking.. it would be great.

To be fair, they could have actually made a good anime series off Disagea if they'd done it right.

Problem is they wanted to do something new or original... I don't want original. I want my dungeon crawls and my resets (with 4th wall breaks) It's like they wanted to make an anime that forgot about the game aspect.... To bad could've been a shonen top 3....

It took me a while to understand what Laharl 'proclaimed' after Etna attacked, and finally figured it out...its pretty funny how you see the difference in power when Anime is in place. The offical most epic fail in Laharl's life, here.

I expected such manic behavior from Etna, but Flonne? FLONNE?!

To be precise, Compile Hearts (company responsible for the Neptunia series) was founded in 2006 for succeeding the previous company Compile, which went bankrupt at 2003. The first Neptunia game was made around 2010. Nippon Ichi Software (responsible for Disgaea) was founded in 1993, with NIS America being made around 2003. The first Disgaea game being made around that same year.

They had option to make disgaea anime or video games. So they decided to make video games Instead.

In Flonne's case, though, yes. In the game, the anime and manga and the light novels( about 20 of em), it's established that demon love is in the air between Flonne and Laharl.... it's just.... ya know.... like that..... Cause they're a demon and fallen angel ~ Try reading the novel where Laharl and Flonne visit Gordan and Jennifer and their daughter, it's pretty heavy in that one

I know all the voices for all three Barbara goodson as laharl Stephanie sheh as flonne and Michelle Lee as Etna.

I love how not-impressed Rozalin and Adell are in this scene.

They cussed all the time in Disgaea 4. Especially Emizel.

i think how Flonne acted here was shown well. if you were to watch the op of Disgaea 3, Etna and Flonne are in really good terms with each other, they even showed this bond in the side story psp game

I always thought that Laharl had twintails cos he was a tsundere

now that was funny and Rozalin and Adell being animated like that other than in the opening was just funny especially since all they did was just stand there and doing their facial expresions for what was happening and then ending it off where they went all white with the black lines a classic surprised and down cast thing that they would do in several comical anime of and i wish that they would make disgaea 2 into an anime because then that would be interesting to watch and funny as well especially when Rozalin gets mad

just download on Steam. It's there along with Disgaea 1 and 5 now

this is avaible after you fight laharl in chapter 11. just go to the dark assembly and they should be a bill about some overlord and that will spark the fight. after the fight this happens.
