. That little rock in your shoe. . Having a flake of something in your eye, which doesn't wanna go away. . Driving behind someone who's going EXACTLY the speed limit and unable to pass 'em. . Having to go to the washroom, but all the stalls are occupied. . No ice in the ice tray. . Finding out, you DID leave the car windows open, only hours after it's been raining or snowing.
I remember what my driving instructor taught me 14 years ago when I was getting my license (and luckily I also had a few snow days when learning to drive): - when it's snowing and the road is shit... Drive as if your brakes don't even exist. That way, you won't need them. Translation: use engine braking and slowly accelerate and decelerate while keeping ample room for all needed maneuvers. Worked well... Never had an issue with losing control of the car.

Good advice !
I'm constantly amazed by how so many people think that it's a good idea to drive in misty, drizzly, overcast and snowy days without their headlights on. It doesn't hurt and only helps to make your car and the road more visible. It's just a good common sense thing to do.

I agree winter tires work a lot better if there is snow or rain, and the weather is cold. Here in Europe in many countries winter tires are mandatory. On flat ice though winter tires are just as useless as summer tires, you need spikes or chains. And for those who are cheap: there are 4 season tires on the market, not as good as the winter ones but still ok for winter conditions. Also i see many drivers jumps on the brakes when they start to spin, worse thing you can do.

I'm watching and I live down south.😆
every one of these could have been avoided by reducing their speed. watching how fast most of these ppl were going on icy road conditions was astonishing. ppl need to drive for the road conditions

Funny, I live in Canada, and whenever the weather gets bad, people drive slowly. Huh, interesting.

Pretty sure most of them didn't have proper winter tires, which could've easily prevented some of these slides, along with, well speed
Love how most of these are in Missouri and can attest we don't either do well driving/or just say no when it gets icy.
Most of these happened in St. Louis, Misery!

This is what it looks like when you don’t have winter tires but still try driving in the winter 🥶

Not worthwhile in St Louis. It doesn't snow/sleet that often to justify the two sets of tires. You can have days like on December 26, 2019 when it was 71 degrees out. All weather tires are all you really need and just to go the appropriate speed.
My friends: Your mom can’t drift My mom: 0:17
It’s like nascar on ice. “They’re trading paint they’re trading paint!”

This really helped showing me the risks of driving on ice.
Everybody gangsta til the plow start sliding
Absolutely amazing that wherever these people set up their cameras, accidents happen. Coincidence??? ;)
Dont lock up ur brakes!!! U can still control vehicle better with wheels moving than locked up
