I love the vic high country. Such an amazing place. How’s the canopy holding up ? I’m thinking of investing in one for my DMax.

We can’t get enough of it - such good camping! We can’t fault the canopy at all - It’s performed extremely well with everything we’ve put it through and it’s had a very hard first 9 months of its life being lived out of full time and taken to some crazy places. Very happy with it!

Hi do your mrt canopy tool boxes or trundle draw leak - I see a lot of comments about leaks on web?

Love your vids and set up. Was interested to know if the rooftop tent made a noticeable difference to the dmax stability on the more difficult track such as where you are in the vic high country. Thanks in advance

Thank you! And thanks for watching. This is a hard one to answer accurately - we actually only did about 1000km of highway driving with the DMAX, then fitted the tent. It’s first time offroad was fully built and setup, so we don’t really have a comparison. In saying that, it’s not weight that I feel is concerning in any way when we’re doing those kind of tracks. We’ve been able to safely take the DMAX everywhere we’ve wanted to (including the Old Tele Track in Cape York) and haven’t ever felt like the tent has been limiting. We do have a Pedders 3450kg GVM upgrade on it as well which improves handling without a doubt.

High county is the best but you need to make a proper fire . Not a birds nest. Only way to stay warm up there. Have fun.

Birds nest 😂😂. Love that. We had to ration our firewood a bit for the week, otherwise she’d be cranking!
