Iceland Landscape Photography ~ Glaciers and the Diamond Beach

In this weeks landscape photography video, we visit Svínafellsjökull Glacier.
The vast scale Iceland's glaciers lend them self to panorama images but is there another way?
Using the 100 - 400mm lens, we try and capture some more intimate and abstract images.
Following this, we head over to the Diamond Beach at Jökulsárlón.
Thanks for watching and as always, please like, subscribe and click the bell icon.
It helps the channel and I really appreciate it.

Thanks mate. Just wish I could have been there at a better time of day but travel time (and needing a feed) got in the way.

Thanks 👍 Stood in front of a couple of glaciers on the trip and the scale of them is just awesome. My brain struggled to comprehend what was in front of me at times :-)

Wow! Beautiful shots. I believe you may have found the only beach where Ze Germans haven't nicked all of the sunbeds. 🥶

Another great video. It makes me want to hop on a plane and head back to Iceland. I have been four times but would go back at the drop of a hat.

What otherworldly places! And that sky in the last scene, wow. A bit jealous here. :) Thanks for sharing your journey, really enjoyed to watch it. Abstracts and the last mini iceberg are my favourites. Keep up the good work!

Another stunning location Garry. Regarding using IS whilst on a tripod I've actually managed to get some sharp images using lower ISO's and IS enabled. Generally I'll take a few images, some with IS at a lower ISO and others with a higher ISO and IS switched off. It's definitely worth trying unless it only works with Fuji 😉 😊

No, it’s a trick that works on Nikon and Sigma too - used it a few times myself. Even a stiff breeze can shake the lens when on a tripod so always worth a try. 👍🏻
