This what i miss about old school rap especially the G-funk era The beats were so full of emotion and vibe. A lot of modern rap ESPECIALLY trap beats or drill beats absolutely lack this. They lack the fun funk.

I bought this cd as a kid. Just to have two my fav artist was epic as a kid music was dope back then more feeling

"Get your mind right, get your grind right." Those are my favorite words of this song. You have to make sure that what you're working so hard for, that this is worth it, that there's a plan. You can't have a negative mindset, you have to have hope be optimistic that your future can be better, that you have the power to make that happen. These are things that our communities of color suffer from, so much depression and hopelessness among out youth. Ice Cube has an important message here.
