When I refer to RNP approaches are those based On RNP APCH nav spec ( Before called RNAV (GNSS) orb(GPS) . When I refer to RNP AR approaches I refer to that nav spec (before called RNAV (RNP). FINALLY ICAO CIRCULAR 336 clarifies that and states are using proper naming. RNAV APPROACHES DO NOT EXIST!!!
