    Bass looks and sounds great, I hope one day to get a bass like this but all I'm into is the groove. Even a squier bass you can groove with, I mean being a bass player is more than the instrument. It's commitment to the groove, and feel of the bass.

    Yo, I watched this review a few years back and picked up the 800. And couldn't be happier with this guitar. The matte finish on the back side of the neck allows for smooth transitions. It's also well balanced and light. Great bass for recording

    Perfect demo! Exactly how this particular bass should be played. And awesome playing as well! That slap part was really tasty. I'm gonna check out Amended on KZread Music if you guys are on there. Wish I had the cash right now for this bass but it looks like i'm gonna have to go with the SR305E for now, which is still a great bass.

    I have this bass and I would say there are multiple uses other than heavier genres I prefer a dark tone and have none of the the treble clank as I play much more funkier and indie genres

    @@efeakbaba4868 The BH2 bartolini pickups are very balanced, so as long as you have got a good effects chain you will be set, the pre amp in my opinion is subtle which for me is perfect. I play RnB and Neo Soul now compared to over a year ago so a warm sound is what you pretty much get out of the box, I think the neck pickup has something to be desired for but the bridge pickup is great and would be good for funk. I don't play metal so I can't say too much about that but of course the fan frets make it great for drop tunings with keeping the tension on the strings.

    I'm thinking of buying this bass, but I'm concerning about one ponit of this bass. Isn't the 16.5mm string spacing too narrow? I'm currently using 18.5mm 5 string sandberg bass. Although it's adjustable, the fretboard is quite slim so I'm wondering if there would be enough space margins after the adjustments.

  • @Synsizer

    @Synsizer

    3 жыл бұрын

    If it is anything like the SR1345B (which I have), you have a point. I did readjust my spacing just slightly, but there really is very little room to work with. I now do most of my bends going toward the middle of the neck. Vibratos are still fine. It has been no issue whatsoever and I really couldn't be more thrilled with this bass.

  • @iamvengeance5324

    Hi there guys, just recently bought this bass online. It seems to have excessive fret buzz. Is this normal for this particular bass? I'm assuming it could have been left in the warehouse and also shipped overseas which potentially could have bowed the neck? How much fret buzz is acceptable, if at all? And if the neck has changed through climate change, what would you suggest I do? Any responses greatly appreciated.

  • @LifeOfWarner

    @LifeOfWarner

    4 жыл бұрын

    Might need to be set up properly. Truss rod adjusted and action set. Is it buzzing on the first few frets or down the neck. Fret buzz depends on how you play. Some people like it and it depends on how hard you play.

  • @OsmiumStudios

    @OsmiumStudios

    We would highly recommend bringing your bass to a local guitar tech so it can be set up for your needs. Some players play hard and that's why it buzzes, sometimes there is a need of neck adjustment. But if you don't know what to do, bring it to a local tech.

    Each instrument will have a different weight, so it's pointless for us to weight it. If you are interested, contact your local dealer and ask them to weight the particular piece that you want to order and then make the decision ;)
