I can understand Iam’s hesitation to do this song, especially with the version Iz did being so iconic…but there should have been no hesitation. He did his own spin on it and it was absolutely amazing. They need to just give him the win and put out an album yesterday. He’s it.

If he does Over the Rainbow, I'll completely lose it, and if I die, I'll die a happy camper. Iam can do no wrong. So special. I'm glad they actually talked about his voice and how and why it and he are so special.

I think Luke was trying to say Iam is being critical of himself because alot of people here in Hawaii are calling him the next Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and singing that song was IZ's bigger hits and Iam has probably been critical of being the next IZ. People, like me, who loved IZ growing up, think that Iam is the first Iam.

Nobody in the whole world like him!! Touches the world’s soul!! He can sing anything!

Iam's rendition paid homage to Louis Armstrong and Iz and in his own rendition. Congratulations on making it to the next round, Iam!!❤️💯

I'm 66 yrs old , if the good Lord sees fit for me to leave now , I would leave happily knowing I've heard the most , humble , caring , lovable , outstanding young man. I lived in Kailua on Oahu for 12 years. Iam reminds me of all the good times I spent there. His voice is like a warm ocean breeze on Lanikai beach 😁 I just love this kid! Go Iam!!!

The Steel guitar was appropriate because it was invented in Hawaii, and although mostly used in Country music now, it still holds parts of older Hawaiian songs as well.

This is such a dreamy song. And add Iam's take on this? It's like hearing this dreamy song on a deserted island. Genius!
