When he signs that recording deal…he’s moving back to paradise…guaranteed…

I watch the show only for him. Don’t get me wrong, many of good singers are in this season, but I tune in to see him. He just nails it every time and is so genuine.

his mind wasn't about finding a house ... he's just humble to come that far in idol and sing on the island he grew up on..that was special for him

He should be called the best singer in the world at this point

He puts a smile on everybody's faces every time he performs. That's the magic of Iam.

His mum told us they taped songs of his dad and him singing and it helps him sleep. Well Iam I could go to sleep listening to your beautiful voice every night 😊

I think Iam Tongi is a reincarnation of Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole. His voice is so captivating that it almost hypnotize's you. Tongi is the new voice of Hawaii and will definitely be recognized and probably will have a record deal.

Well, Hawaii did it once before with Jasmine Trias making Top 3. I see No reason why We can't do it again! Maybe Winner this time, hopefully not fixed like Jasmine's season. I did also forget Camile Velasco who was in Top 9. Both from Hawaii both awesome singers. So if we did it way back then....Hawaii just has to get it together and Vote for Iam!

It’s such a joy to watch Iam perform !

In a special on Iam that aired here a couple days ago, Iam said he got sick with strep throat before coming to Oahu for this performance. He said he wasn’t sure how he would do and that one of the production assistants kept giving him honey packets for his throat. When he stepped on the stage and asked the crowd how they were doing and heard his voice, his confidence returned (and you can see the rest).

Such talent. And each week his stage presence gets better
