I could see a variant of this being used as a long range counter to hypersonic cruise missiles. If equipped with a long range sensor, coordinates with satellite detection, and armed with an airburst warhead it could intercept an incoming very high speed target and detonate with sufficient blast radius to catch its target. As I understand it hypersonic missiles are even more sensitive to disruption because of their high speed, temperature complications from air friction, and difficulty with close range manuvers. Thoughts?

sometimes you need more blasting power, but missiles or guns are too collateral damage making(such in freak misses).

Its "Kamikazi" feature is not as economical as it can be devised to be, working with additional "Killing" system so to be more effective also after targeting the threatening/unwanted maritime vessels...

I wonder how the hell they retrieve HAROP drone in the air from a ship if they don't find any target or it's just a ISR/ISTAR mission launched from the navy vessel itself...? 🤔

@@Adulto357 Shows that you know nothing about aircraft landing (manned or not) on Vessels. The issue is not whether there is automation to "land", the issue is how it is done on a vessel according to the sea state classification (1 to 6), and restrictions (if there are any). And if it's warhead was not deployed, how to recover a live flying ordnance? (In other words for your understanding: How to recover a flying bomb on a vessel with rough seas on a safety manner?!!!) Suggestion: Research first before answering or commenting.
