That thing is festooned with capability, I like how they went full vertical integration and eschewed any joint weapons developments, can't trust anyone to come through with the goods these days, all in-house solutions baby.

The German version, Meko 100, is more like a well armed offshore patrol craft. Basically, they buy the hull; the Israelis put their own weapons and electronics on these ships.

Interesting how this ship differs from the german Braunschweig class, its reference design.

Lora missile is very promising. Would IAI be able to turn it into anti ship ballistic missile

I hope the Philippines will acquire this kind of ship and others in horizon 3..Israel is already proven and tested in actual wars. A proven solution for naval requirement.

IAI even showed it'll do to 1900+t ship haha Say a 3000+ ton warship: * 32-cell Barak NG (or as upgrade option) * That crazy number of Tamirs via that container module * That mini-harpy system * Torbuster hybrid-kill decoys * 2 swiveling decoy launchers * Tiltrotor drone for ISR, OTHT * Tiltrotor drone for carrying smaller & lighter ATTs * Small cheap helidrones strapped with radar jammer to counter home-in by jamming, &/or C-GEM active RF decoys Weight reduction options: * 8 Seabreakers or 8 NSMs which are lighter & smaller than the current usual cruise missiles; - or EOIR + active-radar combo: 4 Seabreakers/NSMs + 4 Harpoon blk.2+ER or Type-17 * Single ELM-2258 ALPHA rotating S-band aesa radar, 400km-ranged extended version; perhaps also Elta's STAR-X radar for better precision - overall only 2 radars; - or four-faced aesa X-band: let's assume a future four-faced version of STAR-X, or lite version from Mogami frigs: x-band is lighter & smaller than S-band. These will also change the BarakNG & Tamir missiles' uplink receivers to X-band, might incur some dev't costs but also reduce space & weight of the missiles; if not, then separate S-band uplinks on the ship like Mica does. * Launchers for Lahat or SpikeNLOS or similar short-ranged SSMs as dual-purpose: as swiveling deck-launchers by default but can also be fitted to the helicopter or drone when needed for AsuW. its a littoral defense ship, it is not meant to engage enemy too far away from the coast. it is meant as vanguard against hostile navy and landing parties
