Iris installer, choose 1.20.4 once downloaded. Then tick distant horizens.

what setting is recommended for RTX 3050 + 32 GB ram + Ryzen 7? I'm gonna use Bliss shader + Distant Horizons. And how do you use shaders with fabric?

use medium to high shader settings, and a render distance of 12-16 chunks, use sodium + indium and iris for shader support with fabric

all of the shaderpacks aren't compatible with Distant horizons (yet), you'll need to use those which are, like Bliss shaders (the one in the video)

Have you installed the Distant Horizon mod yet? If not, I've uploaded the mod pack and the shader in the description (Just make sure you're running on Fabric). Then, follow along with the video from 0:04 to 0:16. Once you're in the Distant Horizon config, you can adjust the LOD Render Distance Radius values like I did at 0:14 mine is set to 169. If your PC is struggling, you can lower the LOD Render Distance to 64, 86, or 128, and adjust the Max Horizontal Resolution to 2 or even 4 blocks. You can also lower the Vertical and Horizontal Quality to Mid or low. It might take a moment to render the chunks. In my case, I waited for about 40-50 minutes. But trust me, it's totally worth it.

an rx 470 probably isnt strong enough to run this at a playable frame rate, if at all

i have ryzen 7 7800x3d and 4090 and everytime i use distant horizons my screen has wierd flickers etc. idk what is wrong with the mod i have warez MC (TLauncher) but it should work just fine

you should try installing other performance mods too, dont just rely on sodium. makes a huge difference
