Does a child know there sex? Do you need to remind a 12 year old what sex they are? Do you have to tell a 12 year old whether to put on a dress or trousers? No?! Quelle surprise! It's no different for any trans child or adult! Just that their gender identity is at odds to biological sex. Pretending a trans person isn't their new sex won't stop or cure gender dysphoria, it cannot be cured by therapy. Without access to affirming care and ability to live a normal life after transition results in a suicide rate of 40%, yet post transition to a new sex resolves that suicide rate and regret only occurs in less than 1% of cases. Gender affirming care is safe and effective.

Remember this is a fashion. Most of it is not real. Psychology is key, not pills or surgery

People wanting to change their gender has been around forever. I'm in my sixties, and their were plenty of people around doing it when I was younger. The point is, nobody cares, and they shouldn't. Becoming obsessed with how someone decides they'll run their lives is ridiculous. Live and let live, and stay away from children.

My spouse is one of those kids of yester year, in the 70's. She was called 'sissy' 'gay' 'weakling' was bullied mercilessly. She used to put on her sisters clothes even at 4 or 5 years old. She was told off for it, made to join football teams, forced to go into the building trade. She pushed those feelings down, suffered mental health issues as a result. At 25 married and had kids. She told me before we married that she felt she should have been a woman and struggled, so it was no shock to me. At age 30 changed career and trained as a nurse, passing with flying colours. At 48 years old after years of therapy, counselling, even prayer ministry and healing, antidepressants etc etc etc, she finally accepted the diagnosis of gender dysphoria, and was referred for treatment and accepted that this is how she was made. That was 4 years ago. Still no treatment as the waiting list is 6 years, but she is living as a woman, still nursing, and so much happier, except for all the hateful rhetoric coming from government and the gutter media. Gender Dysphoria is a recognised condition and on some cases gender transition is the only treatment that works.

Remember they want you to accept them for who they are, but they NEVER accepted themselves for who they were!!

I'm sorry who agreed that a man can choose to be a women. Why weren't wasn't the community asked? Ridiculous!

Truth matters. Being able to speak the truth matters. I don't care how consenting, well informed adults choose to live their lives but children's welfare should NEVER have been turned into this political hot potato, and people should not be vilified for speaking the truth. It is possible to speak the truth without being hateful, yet it seems as though if you speak truth within the trans discussion you're automatically labelled as a transphobe. This, in my opinion, has been a deliberate ploy to shut down honest dialogue and force through the trans ideology without the necessary understanding of the processes and the lifelong consequences, not just to the children who have been treated like lab mice without even collecting data, but their families and yes, women. I almost resent the fact that I have to state that I am not against trans people. They have the right, as adults, to choose how to live, but their rights should not supercede the rights of children in particular and the rights of women. Why do their rights matter more than the rights of others? There needs to be balance and common sence. Without meaningful dialogue between all sides (instead of forcefully ramming their agenda down the worlds throat) and a willingness to hear the other side, I worry where this will end. This report, however, is a step in the right direction. BTW, I do vote Labour, but I have not shared their perspective on this to date, so a Labour U turn on this issue should be seen as a good thing.

Oh my god, they've had a massive report that shows how bad it was, and what do they do, oh please don't be unkind. No this nonsense has led to this terrible harm to so many children, these people shouldn't be allowed to spout this nonsense over and over again, claiming be nice, no, use facts.

The fact is sex is binary = female or male. A trans woman is NOT a woman because a woman is a human adult female. They are male & men - unfortunately, the authorities should never have allowed trans men/woman change their gender on legal documentation - it is wrong, it has huge implications on women's health studies & research projects, for instance. Anyone who has transitioned should be known as trans women or trans men. Let them get on with their lives, and our sex, both fe/male needs to be protected

The definition of transgender is so broad now that no one knows who is being discussed as now another umbrella term.Most trans people don't seek medical and pharmacological interventions. Self ID has lead to the change in acceptance of trans people, as wrapped up in gender/ queer theory.

The problem is,which Matthew doesn't want to admit is this affects women and children and not men, Trans "men" are no danger to men,whether in our private spaces,sports,taking our jobs and awards. Theyre definitely not a physical danger to us.

Young people identifying as trans has gone up just over 100 multiplied from 2011 to 2021. That is an increase a 1000% increase. Medically and naturally impossible so therefore it sits within realm of psychology which is my specialiam
