I scored the Jean haul of a lifetime at a garage sale this weekend! 17 pairs of rock revival and miss me jeans… for ONE DOLLAR each!! All in excellent condition. I couldn’t get them off the hanger fast enough! We sell a little bit of everything, but I’ve recently been trying to gear more toward jeans(while my husband still prefers hard goods) because I definitely enjoy photographing jeans over tops/jackets! So I’m loving your content, thanks for sharing! ❤

As a former homeschooling mom, I would definitely recommend finding or forming a group of trusted friends who homeschool who can take some of the pressure off by helping one another. Hey big things, think commercial trash bags!! They tape nice with shipping tape and hold up as they are super thick. And in a crunch DG has a huge box super reasonable!!! Back on here, you and Kyle are my inspiration

I list on the weekends too but you can totally save up weekend drafts and list them over the weekend so you have some free time for your weekends!

It’s a mystery as to why they don’t slip lol but it’s a fleece blanket!

Steaming is what slows me down. I have a tough time listing wrinkled shirts even though it doesn’t seem to matter. By the way, the Polo brand is pronounced Ralph LAW-ren (like the girl’s name) not Lor-EN. Common mistake.

Just found your channel and love it! You've inspired me to try men's pants (as I only have been selling women's clothing). I did pick up some men's pants that I am puzzled by and Google and Ebay search hasn't helped. The label says Ralph Lauren Super 90's on them, do you happen to know what that means or if they are vintage? They are Khaki pants, thanks.

We built the station with 2x4s and plywood and bought the lighting kit form Amazon. It’s a 5k daylight bulb that we use :)

Kitty Kat has this selling stuff down pat! LOL.

Awesome! I can never get my photos to download to my computer correctly. They either come out in the wrong format or turned sideways. Which then I have to edit and turn each one 😢

Yea it’s like a fleece blanket we found at Walmart! We attached the board to the stairs with 2x4s so it stands about 1.5 feet off the ground. I’ll definitely make a video about the board! We’ve gotten so many questions on it. 😊

i see you are wearing a brace while packing. i have been struggling with the reseller occupational hazard of dequervains issue on my hands. is that what you are dealing with and any advice for me if so?

I sometimes get tendinitis if my hand gets overworked from phone usage, computer usage, etc. The brace helps keep my wrist and hand in a neutral position to still get work done but completely resting it is the only way I can get it to heal.

What is your average buy cost and highest buy cost? We don't have cheap bins here. Thrift stores here in suburban California have price tags similar to Ebay stores. Goodwill maybe a dollar or 2 less.

Average is around $6 and the highest I'd pay for an item just depends on what the item is. I'd pay $1000 for an item that would make me $2000 in a heartbeat.

For example, in our area, $6.99 would be the lowest, $12.99-$15.99 is considered average, $19.99 is the high side we normally find. As always, thanks for the answering questions 🙂.

I use the ebay app to look up the brand and style of jeans. I’ll see how many are listed on ebay and how many are sold on ebay for how much money. That’ll tell me if I should pick up the jeans or not. Buy low, sell high

A couple questions but first...GREAT VIDEO. I appreciated the showi g how you list. This is perhaps my greatest motivator to nicheing down. My questions... When you open a second ebay store, does ebay take you all the way back to not getting paid till later and all that? (I want to do this for my nieche but am not looking forward to newbie issues like that) Second...when you do your taxes can you just combine all the numbers as if its just one reselling business? I want to keep life as simple as possible so im debating a new store or merging the one i have into a niche. Do you feel a niche store gets vetter traffic for those items? Thats three questions sorry.

Yup! We’re going all the way back to newb status lol Yes, I’ll combine sales and expenses with my larger store just to have one book for the business. ebay does like niche stores because they’ll know what traffic to send you vs being all over the board :)

I sell similar off my own listings. I use to do templates but found sell similar off what I already had created was a lot faster when I can search for specific brands and styles.

It still happens! My return rate fluctuates between 4-6% and only about half end up returning the item. All I care about is that I did everything I could so ebay has my back against false INADS/reviews (at least most the time lol).

It depends! Sometimes they’re hemmed to an average length still. I just make a note of it and list. I try not to pick up unusual length jeans mainly because the market is less than an average size.
