thanks to this review I went ahead and bought him off walmart. will be my first neca figure and my first TMNT action figure since I was a little kid. gotta be the coolest they have ever looked even if its coming from a great yet depressing story

Awesome! Just be cautious with adult collectibles like NECA. They can sometimes be delicate, but that comes with the territory of making the best looking stuff. Only thing I can think of that can handle a bit of abuse would be Marvel Legends and even those sometimes have issues

You can probably fix the elbow-problem pretty easily by just heating it up a little. Boil it, or use a hair-dryer/heat-gun, and bend it in the opposite direction until it cools. IDK, but it should work. =)

They are actually so soft that you can just bend them back and forth. It’s more gravity pushing them in one direction. It’s so weird

I really like the elbow pads on f2f raph. They cover the joints perfectly. Only the ankles and wrists are really visible

The bright white is a little weird since they looked more gray in the comic, but I'm fine with it. What I'm not as fine with is how much they peel when I try to change the hands. I'm glad they've finally started giving these characters fists though. While I thought they were kind of pushing it by releasing the same Raph figure but bloody, I will take it all back if they make a figure of Leo wearing that sick jacket he had in chapter 2.

They were too expensive and I thought they looked really ugly from the promotional images. But now I am full of regret.

thats the only thing that bugged me was the insane shipping so i only got the Raph one. Im waiting to be lucky enough to run into the rest in store.

but NECA still refuses to do vertical wrist hinges on weapon hands. it was nice that he came with a bunch of the small kunai knives so I was able to fit some of them with my old NECA ninja gaiden figure (since original releases were missing the kunai).

"He's either referencing a really obscure comic book where there's an alternate time-line and one of the turtles goes by yeah. Or if you flip the letters around, then the y goes upside down it looks like an R, the e becomes a p and you get Raph" or Yeah as in you like all of them... Splinter loves his sons but even he has a favorite son 👀

@@NostalgiaUnboxed I wish they were more uniform or atlest used soft good clothes so you wouldn't have to buy extra figures just have them standard naked and the ability to change their outfit because leo has a trench coat and white katanas in the issue where Raphael dies but in the time skip he gets these cartoonish brown katanas and armor they could've gave us maskless Donnie in his trench coat and winter hat in other issues like the lost years or the afterlife they are regular
