I just heard this for the first time and I can't stop playing it. It is one of the purest love songs I've ever heard, sung by a favorite singer of mine. It brings tears and chokes this guy up but I can't get enough of it. When he started singing it was stunning to hear his still robust and expressive voice, and his explanation of what the song means to him is so touching. I read that he met his future wife when he was 12 years old, and his deep sense of loss is revealed in this song. Tom, to me this is your best work! Thank you.

I love him and his 🎶 songs.

My spouse died when he had just turned 50. I felt so lost and this song says it all. I didn’t want to go on living but I had to because I had a young child. So I carried on and kept the faith. God got me through. You never really get over it, you just learn to endure it when the waves of grief wash over you. The last email I got from him was a simple “I love you”. He had no idea it would be his last words to me but they were my greatest comfort in the days and years since his passing.

82 Years old and he’s just belted out a vocal sitting in a chair that would win any show on the planet, what a man you are Tom Jones. 😢😘

After I heard this, my wife passed away on August 12th last year, I wish I could have talked to her before she passed. When I found her on the bed, she looked peaceful and not in anymore pain.

I listen to his singing this song and you can hear and feel the love and hurt in his words. I think everyone who has lost a loved one will know the meaning of his words. I lost my husband four years ago and it takes alot of strength to not crumble and fall. Thank you Tom Jones for bringing this song to us to listen to and remember we have to not crumble.

Fucking hell. We need more male singers like Tom. His vocals are from heaven. It's not even sound, its just pure emotion. Started crying. Then when he mentioned his wife, I died, because I know where that voice of his comes from.

Sir Tom Jones is the best ever male vocalist, his power, depth, tone and emotion was second to none. In his his prime no one could touch him vocally. Even now at 82 he’s still got an amazing voice. Tom Jones is an icon and legend, he was knighted by the Queen for a reason…

Two nights ago, I saw Sir Tom Jones in concert in Charleston SC. The man poured his heart out in every song. For a 2 hour concert. One of the best concerts I have ever attended
