Watching videos like this makes me really want to play the game. Then I remember that only OWCS players get to actually play like this in game because their tank isn't running in alone for the 20th time in a row.

9:00 as a wannabe rein/pretty decent sigma, this distinction about burstiness *and its implications for support resources* is gold and I wish more support players understood it. Sigma at half health is doing fine, but rein below half is just a shield bot until he gets to where he can do stuff.

I wish my fellow bronze would watch this and understand :) . But they will continue to go alone, go in 1 v 5 and in a straight line and complain that no one is on the objective. But thx for the vid 😊

Lower ranks would help. Bring out negative sr ranks, maybe plastic 1 to 5 and wood 1 to 5. But which one would be lower plastic or wood?

If the devs fix the lower throuput support heroes “Lw mercy”. The problem being dps passive affects them more than bap or Kirko “the higher throuput supports”. What season do they accomplish it in? 11, 12, 13, etc..

Line is pressure from your team, your pressure can go in 3 places, before during and after. Pressure is the ability to force resources from the enemy team, blue line is the minimum where the enemy team is required to give up resources. Apologies if it wasn’t too succinct, this was done in one take on stream with minimal notes and then edited down as much as I could!

I can clear this up, 5v5 is a huge free for all and whom so ever has a tank that will take space and actually move in.. That teams wins. Unless of course a healer cooldown save everybody and then that same healer kills your whole team...

I don’t understand why OW doesn’t make this information available to everyone so that beginners can learn it. Maybe they think if they do then their design philosophy is more limited. Why make a hero or map that doesn’t adhere to the core principles that they would teach. However, I think it doesn’t matter because at this point , the game must work like this. If a hero didn’t then it would be either an incredibly underpowered or overpowered. It would either not engage in combat at all or would be able to 1v5 or at least 1v2 on a consistent basis. Thus, I think it’s safe for OW to add this information in. I feel disappointed that I had to find that information on YT 8 years after the game released. That just seems like they are abandoning the game from an educational perspective so that streamers can do it, and that will always be difficult to mass market as not everyone can access these other platforms.

Are you really in all seriousness asking why there aren’t any deep guides within the game itself? Have you seen any other game provide its audience with a 30 minutes video explaining all the details of how the game work on a basic level? And I don’t mean mechanics, I mean actual fundamentals. And I won’t even start about how fundamental strategies in many different PVP games are far from a universally agreeable topic. Have you, actually put a thought to what you are writing or you wrote all of this just to be another stupid hater wearing rose tinted glasses of nostalgia complaining about everything new in this game?

yeah and since this game is so easily figured out, blizzard can actually adjust the game moment by moment, oh you thought that 1 shot tracer was dead, nah she lives with .5 health. This game is 100 percent rigged there is 0 consistency between any match.. In theory all of this is correct in a "REAL GAME" although this game is 100 percent rigged, and will actually show players different info in the same game even!!!
