I really miss Blockbuster, they really should've accepted that offer with Netflix years ago.

In hindsight, it was absolutely a huge mistake. But you can't blame them for not knowing that physical copies would later become obsolete due to streaming services taking over. At the time, many people thought they made the right decision by NOT buying out Netflix. 😕
I wish video stores would make a comeback... streaming just isn't the same. 😭
I was a later 90’s kid (1996) but I went to blockbuster all the time and rented the video games they had. Had the pass where you could rent it as long as you wanted. Occasionally got movies to. Store probably closed around 2009-11, cant remember. RIP
In Bend, that store is probably a community staple. Not much over there retail wise with the exception of tourist trap shops.
When I was younger, I used to see so many when going from town to town until they slowly started disappearing. I love DVD’s but with computer and laptops no longer having disc drives, and streaming services existing, these places simply went obsolete
I remember when I was really young and I always went to Blockbuster and me and my dad would always go pick out one movie

tbh with the crap netflix is shooting out blockbuster is gonna end up more popular than it is.
is it me or did BlockBuster always have a certain smell? no just me?
Hey , have you heard about this animatronic band called "ROCKY AND THE RAMBLIN RASCALS".....its a rip off band of Chuck E Cheese.....The outfit of the animatronic animals is the same outfit of the Chuck E Cheese band's outfit....well it is located somewhere called the enchanted forest something like that...and one more thing if you had a animatronic band..what will you call it?? Great video...and a very goodbye to BlockBuster....Make more vids and keep up the good work pal :)...make more animatronic vids like Chuck E Cheese and Showbiz...❤❤🥰🥰

I had not heard of them but now I have and sadly it looks like they just closed this weekend, not that It would have mattered, I wouldn't be out in New York till next month. But I'll definitely put it on my list for next summer to try and go visit them! And that's a good question, what would I name an animatronic band? I guess I'm always attracted to phonetic sounding names like Wendell and the wascally wabbits, something like that but I would have to ponder that lol thanks for watching!
I remember going to Michigan video me and my dad would go frequently

That's awesome! I worked there part time during highschool, mostly at the Lindon/Corunna Rd location. Good times.

@@SetsStreetsEats I remember spending many of hours looking in the game section to rent some n64 and Playstation games
Here's a funny thing they weren't allowed to have porn at video stores in Oklahoma back in the day still to this day the first thing you see when you cross the Texas border is an adult video store

Yeah I've heard that many states actually had those laws and that seems to be why there is a plethora of state line adult video stores across the nation lol
