The last BLOCKBUSTER video on earth!

Ойын-сауық

BLOCKBUSTER Video. The most massive popular Video rental Store of all time. It seemed like every town had one, sometimes more than one! But this epic chain with over 9,000 locations in multiple countries is extinct now... Except for one last survivor! With the closure of stores in Alaska and one last survivor in Australia, this Bend, Oregon store is now the LAST BLOCKBUSTER ON EARTH. Come inside and relive a part of Blockbuster history and 90s (and early 2000s) history in Bend, Oregon!

I loved blockbuster as a kid! I remember every Friday being allowed to rent a movie and a video game for our PS2. I was so small then so I’d always ask the employees what game they liked. I got to play a wide variety of games because of that!

Knowing that one last Blockbuster remains is what reminds me of what little there is left of my childhood. The memories are still there but even those are becoming more of a sadness as time goes on. A representation that nothing lasts forever and we need to cherish those moments as much as we can. Long live Blockbuster!
