Epic , I worked at blockbuster from 1998 to 2000 , cool to see one again !!!!
It's a shame we lost our last Blockbuster store here in Australia. Loved going there!
You made me want to look for my Blockbuster Video membership card... and I found it!! Thank you for this post. It brought back a lot of great memories!
this blockbuster feels like entering a memory
I remember that feeling when you got to Blockbuster and the latest hot movie was all out but then at last second a Blockbuster employee put a just returned copy back on the shelf! Ahhh... you made my night. You made it a Blockbuster night! 😃🎉
1995: Recommendations from actual humans 2019: Recommendations from algorithms
I love and miss Blockbuster Video so many good memories renting and buying new and old forgotten gem VHS tapes in the 90s and early 2000s same thing with DVDs in the early 2000s
I'm surprised that Blockbuster even has one store left after being destroyed by Netflix!
I'd also like to think that Russell Crowe is obsessed with the Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon 😂
I miss blockbuster too
FUN FACT: Blockbuster Video made more money annually from LATE FEES than they did from the actual movie rentals.
I loved blockbuster as a kid! I remember every Friday being allowed to rent a movie and a video game for our PS2. I was so small then so I’d always ask the employees what game they liked. I got to play a wide variety of games because of that!
That’s first I heard this was open. Fun to see your perception of Oregon were I’m from.
BTW Happy 4th Justin Ally and London I hope you guyy have a awesome 4th of July!!!!!!!!!
Wow so cool. Blockbuster used to be a little more pricey than local movie rental places..
Knowing that one last Blockbuster remains is what reminds me of what little there is left of my childhood. The memories are still there but even those are becoming more of a sadness as time goes on. A representation that nothing lasts forever and we need to cherish those moments as much as we can. Long live Blockbuster!
The blockbuster popcorn was good and miss it.
I preferred Hollywood Video But Honestly it is interesting to See That 1 Blockbuster continues to live on
i love the video store
Miss those Fri Blockbuster nights.
The last thing I ever expected to see
John Oliver bought the Russel Crowe stuff at auction and donated it to the Blockbuster in Alaska. When that one closed it got moved to this one.
You're going to all my favorite places! Awesome way to represent Oregon! THANK YOU for showing a bit of the dessert side!
I miss this
Thank you for the video! This has brought back soooo many memories. We actually rented VCRs from Blockbuster!
The Russell Crowe stuff came from John Oliver. He had sent it to the Alaska blockbuster but when they closed they sent it down here
Thanks for the tour, not only are your videos fun but they're always packed with cool information, historical background and groan worthy puns.
Am I the only one who wanted more of the day time bat song? Lol.
This is so awesome. Brings back memories.
Yes!! The power to rent older movies and buy popcorn at the same time.
In hoping to go back to Oregon in December !
Talk about childhood memories.
Kinda reminds me of the Sterling Hill Mines in O-berg, NJ. Gets CRAZY cold!
I have fond memories growing up where your whole weekend revolved around the video game you rented on Friday night.
I hope you remembered to rewind those DVDs
Nostalgia X100, I'm also from SoCaL! Great video brotha, thanks for sharing. This really brought back some great memories!
I was born in 2000 and I still remember Blockbuster. It was definitely more fun shopping for movies rather than just browsing online
Family Video rental stores are all over the Upper Midwest.
OMG....this brought back MANY memories....I still have my Blockbuster membership card too! Well done Sir!
Man, how much older I am compared to Ally?! Floppy disks and cd’s were used for computers when I was a kid.
I can’t remeber that we had a blockbuster in the netherlands..
Woah this is awesome! I’d totally wanna visit sometime!!! Anyways keep up the good work 😁❤️
So cool! I hope they stay open forever!
I want the rug!
Family video is still everywhere lol... So is the internet
I worked in a local video store for a few years after high school, and wow, what a fun job that doesn’t exist anymore! There’s nothing quite like searching for a movie and snack on a Friday night.
Idk why but they look like they were born in the 90s lol god I remember going to blockbuster back in the early 90s like 91 or 92, renting NES games VHS, all the way to Blu-ray and PS3 and Xbox 360 games, Blockbuster and now Toys R Us.. childhood getting Destroyed, That was a pretty spot on golum tho LOL
Imagine someone asks where you work and you say blockbuster lol
The Russell Crowe stuff is actually from John Oliver. He gave it to an Alaskan Blockbuster but it looks like Oregon got it after it closed.
You are the best Justin! I love your vlogs! Thank you for sharing!
You were so close to my house when you were at enchanted forest. Welcome to Oregon! Hope it’s been impressive
it's trippy watching you go through Oregon making videos of all my childhood adventures!
This is such a cool video! You know so many tibits of history and it's so amazing!
IT'S STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s cool! You also need to check out the Pizza Hut in Warrenton, OR..it’ll definitely bring you back to 80’s or 90’s! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🤗🤗🤗🤗
The outtakes at the end had me dying. Thanks for that. The rest of video wasn't too bad. Lol.
The X-Wing is going to be Ally's wedding gift to Justin EDIT;I also just realized that this is the first comment lol
yo man ive been watching for a whil now and gotta say love your vids
Thanks for taking me along on the trips. I know I could never make such a long drive. I do enjoy seeing it thru your and Alley's eyes.
Oh yeah, another KZreadr was at the liquidation sale of that Australian Blockbuster
That was a great video Justin! Took me straight to high school. Thanks!
I miss going to blockbuster.
The size of that cinder cone. Just made my night. Thank you for taking us along on this, and all, your adventures. P.s. please don't stop the geology puns, or any puns, ever.
My dad showed me his early 2000s blockbuster membership card! Ha!
Whelp, don't tell Ally that I always thought she looked like Natalie Portman XD
Looks like you're on a different planet there towards the end there with weird colored rocks, the Chip and Dale part. Is there still a block buster company ? How does it work? Who owns it?
The last blockbuster video wow a a different
I adore Alley, the way she stands by your side while your making all those crazy expressions and voice changes while narrating your vlog to us. Don’t get me wrong, I love the way you vlog for us, but I’m sure sometimes it is embarrassing for her, maybe even annoying. Lucky for you she supports you. Your an amazing girlfriend Alley. We love Justin and Alley ! 👫
See there's family videos all over where i live so like its basically the same thing as a blockbuster
Do they not have good internet in Oregon? I mean, Blockbuster was nice 20 years ago but i'm so glad we've progressed how we have, don't even need to leave the house.
I remember my parents taking me to a Blockbuster in Watchung, NJ and that store ended up closing in 2013
Sooo rad! 😆🎬🎥
6:23 omg the pop corn I never had the bucket either I really want to still
Netflix: Oh I thought you were dead? The last Blockbuster: My death has been greatly exaggerated
Welcome to Bend! I've watched your videos before, excited to see you here. Hope you enjoyed Bend and our famous last BB.
I don't think I've ever seen a man so positive and innocent, it makes me happy :)
Seeing all this content from my home state is just the best:)
Watching a jordan video on Gwttw, he said Margaret mitchell was 4'9". I immediately thought "1 ally tall".
Love Blockbusters!!! I’ll have to hunt that down in August 😁.
This is awesome! I used to go to blockbuster all the time. Glad to see that there's at least 1 still open!
Correction, it's the last Blockbuster maybe in the US but not in the world. I was just in Italy and saw at least 2 in Florence.
Glad you got to come to Oregon last year and didn't wait till this year. I need to make a trip to Bend to check it out.
The beginning of the video is at about 4:00
Blockbuster stores 🏬 have a very distinctive smell 👃!!!!
BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I would take blockbuster over Netflix any day.
This really takes me back
So, is that a sleeping volcano or an extinct volcano?
Oh no! You neeeeed to watch the John Oliver THIS WEEK TONIGHT thread to know the amazing Russell Crowe / Blockbuster story.
So glad you guys made it! I love living in Bend because I get to rent movies. The guy that owns the blockbuster owns the building which is paid for. So if everything works out it is here to last.
I live in Bend and honestly Blockbuster is like, a weekly destination for me
I wish video stores would come back and sell both digital and physical media and they could also mail out the dvds to the costumers
I wasn't expecting this video to make me so emotional. Walking around in a Blockbuster had a very specific feeling back in the day, and this video brings it back. My parents never bought me the popcorn bucket either.
i literally busted out laughing at "oh my gosh the tablecloth"
This was an epic randomland adventure!!!
Its for nostalgia reasons. No-one wants to drive to video stores anymore. Not to mention risk late fees.
I miss Blockbuster!! Oh, and the volcano was cool too 😜
I remember when Blockbuster was in Hamilton Ontario Canada it was the best
Thank you so much for this!! I got weepy when you got your cards. I remember when they use to have summer deals. it was SUCH a big deal for ME when I was old enough to handle the responsibility of renting my FIRST movie! Them there where the VIDEO GAMES! For a poor kid, renting games that where way too expensive meant a lot.
Love this mate!! What a great subject for a video. And now that I live in the USA (in Washington), I could actually drive down here and see this! Maybe I will! The Russell Crowe stuff ended up there thanks to him and the John Oliver TV show Last Week Tonight; it was some kind of gag that became real.....!
Hi Justin. Glad Ally is doing better keep up all the good videos.
