as someone who works in a theatre, we definitely recognize people and we definitely judge people who see the same movie every day. its rare, but it happens, and i am always incredibly confused by it. if i saw someone doing this w morbius i’d need an extra therapy session that week

I think Morbius's biggest cultural impact is: I'm a zookeeper and every day when I go to feed the (fruit) bats and they get all excited and start flying around, I think "It's Morbin' time". Every. Single. Day.

The holy pilgrimage to Rainforest Cafe everywhere serves as a form and mental and physical training for the ultimate ritual of self-flagellation that is watching Morbius 5 days in a row. Soon Eddy will reach his final form as he ascends to nirvana, having cast off the shackles of this petty human world and achieving enlightenment as a pure being.

I’m here for the vampire bat defense! They also have “friends” and will feed their friend if they didn’t get a meal that night (they’ll starve pretty quickly - I might be wrong on this, but I think they can die if they don’t eat one night) so if their friend gets food their friend will feed them to keep them alive. It’s pretty adorable ☺️

Yup. Their small size is adaptive to feeding on the backs of large animals like typical livestock. Their size, in addition to a few other adaptations like anti-coagulant secretions, helps them go unnoticed. They can feed for several hours, repeatedly coming back to the same spot before they're noticed.
