I think I can clarify the lazy cancer comment! This is the line that made me completely sure this was translated from Chinese-a common internet phrase is 懒癌晚期, which literally translates to “late-stage lazy cancer”, and it’s literally just used self-deprecatingly to say that you’re a lazy person. I don’t know why they attempted to translate this, but content farms like this…nobody understands them, man. Chinese people clown on them too even when it’s in Chinese.

Salt/sugar preserved egg yolks are amazing and used as a seasoning or a topping like grating parmesan cheese. You brush the salt off once they have dried and grate them onto food. The "egg trick" is just how to make cured egg yolks with a few steps taken out. Usually people cure egg yolks in salt and sugar for several days and then bake them to draw out excess moisture, and then they grate them on pastas and what have you. You don't eat them whole, and I think if they weren't fresh they'd go bad pretty quick if you didn't dry them out further in the oven

this is more with infomercials than it is with weird life hack channels, but tricks and/or products that help people with mobility issues are often broadcast as mainstream tools bc the disabled market isn’t really big enough/is too diverse in terms of individual needs for many products and ideas to get traction, so they need abled people buying and looking at the things as well. they get where they need to go in the end - my aunt has severe neuropathic pain among other things and she’s basically an encyclopedia of every actually useful tiktok life hack & as seen on TV product at this point

Salted egg yolks are actually great, it really looks like you used super coarse salt that looks like panko, honestly, if you do it right and give it a good amount of time (and leave the container open and out, you're trying to evaporate the moisture!) they end up being more like babybel cheese, and they're great for shredding onto pasta. Rich, creamy, and the flavor is delightful. I'd imagine they'd make for an excellent ramen addition, as well. Yours look like they just got kind of a gummy exterior and didn't really dry out much at all.

For the juice box one, that is occasionally a real problem. It's not that you don't use the straw but holding the box sometimes you inadvertently squeeze it and spray juice up through the straw, spilling it. Holding it by the 'ears' prevents the possibility of squeezing the box, so that *is* a solution! Just wanted to write because this brings back memories from school!

Salt/sugar preserved egg yolks are amazing and used as a seasoning or a topping like grating parmesan cheese. You brush the salt off once they have dried and grate them onto food. Cook the eggs. Crack the peel of the eggs. Put them into very salty water and add cool flavours. It tasts amazing.

This channel 100% has to be a parody. Some of the "lost in translation" lines are so funny that I refuse to believe this is anything other than a joke. Also, "smart people put a plastic bag on their face"? That's actually comedy genius considering it's extremely dangerous to put a plastic bag on your head lmao. fun fact: fruits and vegetables are not mutually exclusive terms when classing tomatoes. the fact that it's a fruit is a botanical fact, and "vegetable" has no meaning in botanics. in other words, if a tomato is actually a fruit and not a vegetable, then every vegetable is actually something else and not a vegetable.
