It completely changed my perspective on life and money. Although saying that these 2 brothers do seem genuine and really nice people.

    Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for.

  • @cocosilkworm

    @cocosilkworm

    Жыл бұрын

    Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when he said the average rent in Toorak was a bit over $900pw, and some Brisbane suburbs are more expensive than that now! I just checked Toorak vs Teneriffe, QLD and Teneriffe has actually overtaken Toorak with the average rental price. The highest asking rental price in Teneriffe right now is $3500pw for a 5 bm 3 bath waterfront house on 477m2... I see the most expensive in Toorak at the moment is $1670pw. (There's one in South Yarra for $3000pw. Doesn't mean there are not others but it's crazy that a Brisbane suburb is asking that much now. You watch everyone give up on QLD and NSW and move back to Melbourne, provided they can deal with any future lockdowns... I will say though that asking prices does not necessarily mean they are going to get that. The prices have reached a ceiling here now I think... Famous last words as more cashed up foreigners invest here... Lol Our property market is serious just a gambling house!

    Having lived in Melbourne and Sydney, can honestly say Melbournians are genuinely all much more friendly and open to talking to strangers. Took me such a long time to settle in to Sydney and make friends even though I talked to everyone as though I were still in Melb, people thought I was weird. Im still convinced it’s the rest of the country that’s weird for not being friendlier. 😂 🫶🏽🗣

    It's not really a secret. Usually money comes from being high ranking government workers, CEOs, in China etc. Then they invest a lot here, often in large proeperty portfolios. Also I'm not even Chinese myself but I don't blame them for being secretive/suspicious of a random guy asking how they made their money. People try to take advantage even if your net worth is small, so I imagine they've had to become extra guarded.
