    we all come short of the glory of god, and But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. jesus said i am the way the truth and the life noone cometh unto the father but by me, hell is a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth, god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that whoesoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life , jesus died for your sins and after 3 days god raised him from the death!!!

    About 30 years ago, I went to Africa with my 14 year old daughter. We went to build a church and do medical work with a group. We were there for 3 weeks, and while on safari my daughter turned 15. It was an amazing experience! So much so, that I went again 5 years later, this time without any other family members. Once you've been to Africa, Africa is "in you". I felt like I was meant to be there. It was the epitome of "awesome"! So glad you got to experience this Forrest! You will truly remember this for the rest of your life!

    I cried through this. Washing someone’s feet changes your whole perspective, and letting someone wash your feet does, too. Forrest, you participated in some of the most important things - sharing Jesus, washing feet, baptizing, playing with and giving to children. As for worship, Jesus saved our lives- we SHOULD be enthusiastic in our worship of Him!!!! I think Western culture does us a great disservice in that area. Bless you Forrest, I hope you get more opportunities like this in the future. God loves you so much, and serving Him is a wonderful way to “love Him back”!!! Serving at home is, too:)

  • @Carol-Bell

    @Carol-Bell

    8 ай бұрын

    @@ericafair9983 and davidinchcliff4560 I figured that is what he might be referring to. It most certainly IS in the Bible. In John 13, during what we call the “last supper”, Jesus gave us the custom of communion, which most Christians do even today.But most people are not aware that in John 13, Jesus also washed the disciples’ feet AND told them in verses 14-15, “ Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. 15) I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. “ But almost nobody talks about that, and very few churches actually do it. Even to the point of someone claiming it “is not Biblical”. Jesus did it in connection with communion but gave no command about when to do it. So just like some churches have communion on the first Sunday of the month and others on the last, etc, I think God leaves it up to each church to decide how or when to have foot washing. But Jesus DID say to do it.

I am the widow of an evangelical pastor and though not living as conservative a life style, I honor and respect the way you are living and raising your children. Your boys are adorable and so sweet. I just watched your Christmas walk in town and your testimony regarding anxiety. It was a blessing and I pray that it will encourage many. I have had only a one time experience so I know how debilitating it can be. The Lord has blessed me with an extrovert personality and simple faith. At almost 87, I’m still an active volunteer both in my church and the Christian retirement community where we moved in 2004. God is good all the time. Your family and ministry are in my prayers.

    What a wonderful experience for Forrest. I spent a year as a missionary nurse in Kenya back in 1982. It was a brilliant, life affirming & life changing experience for me. I often remember it & thank God for the opportunity. Forrest is growing into a wonderful godly young man. Love to all the family. X

    Yeah- the key word here is responsible. Forrest shows tremendous maturity on this trip, a credit to the teachings and mentorship of his parents. So exciting to watch. God bless your family.❤.

    What a wonderful opportunity for Forrest. Trusting God in unknown situations can be hard for adults, but Forrest, it seems as though you absolutely did trust God. You went in to teach and bless others, yet you came away having learned and being blessed

    I admire Forrest's corage and fearless determination to continue to go on this adventure for God ! And I'm thankful too, for the parents that raised him, so that he was able to go without them! A true mark of Christian maturity! God bless you all!! 🤗❤️❤️✝️
