Seeking solitude is completely underrated. Being alone can be great...alone but not lonely. Good video!
Went on 6 solo trips abroad this year and honestly visiting new countries solo and meeting new people really opens your eyes to experiences you miss out on when following the crowd. Glad you enjoyed your time in the cottage :)

How do you avoid loneliness during solo trips?

@@ethan-scott I would personally recommend walking tours, when I go abroad solo I go for 1 walking tour and see if I meet anyone whilst learning about the city. The bonus with this is at the end of the tour the guide will 99% recommend a restaurant where you can go if any other solo travellers are on the tour. Alternatively try to push your comfort zone and stay in hostels, cheaper and less privacy but great for making friendships along the way.
To summarize: Riza is talented, creative, inspirational, introverted, natural, thoughtful, mindful, calm, lovely and, beautiful. Love her vids, these are exactly what I desire on youtube.
The way you and Colt integrate the artistic views of your lives in transition with your video sponsors is beyond me, this video told an amazing story along side being sponsored by headspace. Hope y'all continue to bring this new light into the KZread space and inspire everyones creative side within this platform :)

thank you so much! Really appreciate that 🙏🏼
It's great seeing other creators on the platform use your videos as a way to show how KZread is slowly shifting. Your vidoes have this post-pandemic slow approach to life to them and I'm here for it 🙌
You are changing KZread in such a awesome way with every upload! 👏🏻
Working a stressful job helped me appreciate solitude. This clip is filled with ideas of what I can possibly apply to my own life; such as, visiting a local coffee shop with a journal or simply cleaning up my space for an uncluttered mind. Thank you for these lessons and reminders!
There's nothing wrong with traveling solo. It helps to take a break from people and do things at your own pace without the pressure of everyday life. Sounds like it was pretty amazing. Nice video.
Nova Scotia is my favourite province in Canada. It's hard to describe, but there's this amazing combo of calm and adventure. So many peaceful outdoor experiences.
I need to travel. It's been almost 2 years since I took a decent vacation and I miss not being always tied to a strict routine. Not being bombarded with the thoughts of work the first thing when I wake up is such an amazing and relaxing feeling.
Solo trips are the best, especially for clearing my mind and resetting. I still do have fear of feeling lonely as you mentioned but once I get to my destination, I usually find something to do to keep myself busy with things to do in the area. Great way to meet new people too.
The way you tell stories is so real and relatable. So refreshing in a culture distracted by more superficial things. Your approach is refreshing af, keep inspiring, I can't say it enough!!!!
“At some points I’m questioning all my decisions, and the next I’m feeling like I’m right where I should be.” Really resonated with me! I’ve just found your channel, but I really like how unique your channel and content feels. I wish you all the best!
I'm mesmerized by your unique filming and editing skills. Taking some time off from everything is a necessity once in a while
Riza you posted this video just at the right time. I'm at a point of my life where there's no one for me and hence I decided to explore solitude. You are my biggest inspiration Riza❤
Wow I was just talking about how a lot of us are in a season of *craving SOLITUDE.* Beautiful video Riza 😍💚
People have already commented a lot about you. I just simply don't have enough words to tell you how marvelous you are!
Love how a little think-time solo escape had a nice story, and was so well captured to make it feel refreshing. Seeking solitude, or a break from routine doesn't alway require traveling far away. Finding a new location from usual routine be it a coffee shop, or park can bring a fresh perspective. Alternatively a 1.-3 day getaway at local rental can provide a bit of adventure and fresh environment away from routines.
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZread channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,495 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

@@InnerPeaceSounds Thank you! What I really focus on is the value of the content and what I’m truly passionate about while helping others! I'm glad that I'm foolish enough to believe that I can actually start making money through my passions. I've never thought that I'd be able to gain more than 2k subs faster. I can't imagine how many opportunities could have been wasted if I didn't have courage to go after them. That includes having this channel, being in a management role, having the people who actually care about me for who I am, freelance gigs, being an ambassador in a creative community and now I'm also planning on honing my public speaking skills through joining a toastmaster club and these all happened in 2023. It started with writing them all down on a piece of paper. A paper that serves as a reminder for me to go after what I want even through hard times. I'm not bragging about my accomplishments but simply hoping that this message can also inspire others to believe in themselves.
I just found you like a week ago and my life has already changed. You offered ne another perspective of things and of life. Made me feel better about myself. Made me rethink mg deepest beliefs. And in the end, made me feel good about myself and the world around me. And somewhat a bit simpler, I love the cinematography in your videos! Gives them a truly unique experience. Thank you, Riza.
Something so magical about travelling on your own. It's one of those shifts I hope to see in the coming years where this becomes more normalized. It's great to travel with others and all, and in an ideal world, you get to do both. But some isolation and time where you HAVE to just THINK... that's where the magic lies, for introverts and extroverts alike (and everyone else on the spectrum). So good to see you gain clarity from your trip; a great way to end the year ❤
Your videos are a work of art. Packed with stunning visuals and a beautiful message! So glad you got to do this think week and were able to share it with us.
Great video and documentation & thoughts on spending time alone and getting in that head space, this was much needed, thanks Riza :)
This is such a beautiful and calming video! Thank you for inspiring Riza! I definitely took some new insights from this. I also started travelling alone a few years ago and I absolutely love it. :)
SPending time by one self can be both nerve wrecking (in the beginning and if one isn't used to it), and then I feel like the space around me expands. It might sound strange and a bit "woo-woo", but it's like all the things in every day life backs off a little and gives ones soul more room to stretch and be.
Great editing skills as always. Going on solo trips is something everyone should do at least once.

I am currently in Japan by myself and been watching your videos. Thank you for inspiring people and putting yourself out there
I try to get a way like this at least a couple of times per year. It is a great feeling to step out of your life and look back at it from "the outside", and reflect on the direction you are going.
Love it ! You’re right its always important to spend time by ourselves ! The cottage is very cool omg i love the vibe ! Wish you all the best❤❤
I've been thinking lately about how we perceive enjoyment in the company of others. This year I have been learning to be comfortable in my own company and just not have to rely on others to appreciate things and most importantly, to accommodate for yourself. Thanks for the video.
I’ve become a huge fan of your’s and gone so much to quote some things you’ve said in my own personal journal. Thank you for what you do and who you are!

Hi, I'm new and this was such a great introduction to your channel. You're truly a breathe of fresh air. Your dialogue around the 10 min mark hit home for me, I'm definitely taking this as a sign that I need to go on another solo trip to really hone-in on myself even further and to reflect on the amazing journey I'm on so far. Looking a deeper into your IG feeds, the thumbnails are such a vibe, you're like mise-en-scene for me rn. Thank you
I love, love, love how this video shows a lot more of your personality 💜I really admire your craft, even more so now. I can't wait to see more from you.

so obsessed with you and everything you make! keep creating!!
Hi Kariza 👋, I remember I used to feel awkward about myself and the thought of enjoying my own company when I was younger. But what I’ve learned about spending time alone is that I get to really dig deep and reflect on who I truly am as a person and what I want for myself and my life. Like you said at 10:46, we see who we are when we’re not around anyone else and in a place where no one knows us. I’d like to add that in an interesting way, we also realize that we know ourselves better than the people who know us. It looks like you enjoyed your think week, and maybe you learned a lot more about yourself while you were at it. (I hope you did both! 😁) Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗
Absolutely hooked on your channel! Love it 😍
That outside outfit looks so amazing! All of the clothing items fit perfectly together. I loved that the red in the beanie ever so slightly returns in the collar and sleeve-ends

i have been a silent analyzer of your videos kariza. i love your videos to my heart. just at 1:44 the sound effect of the cup came a bit early than it had to. it really doesnt matter and almost everybody ignored that detail. i just pointed out because of your love towards attention to detail which i personally admire a lot. cheers:)
Love you Kariza! Your videos always surpass the last! 😘🫰🏼
Honestly, Everything about your videos give me inspiration and just a feeling I can’t explain. The breathtaking shots and beautiful lighting just feels like a breath of fresh air. Your videos always come at a time when i need them the most, definitely been needing a reset like this!
Wah, that montage with opening the window and the music. All the little details. The shadow on your face from the curtain's patterns. The little pose after opening the window. Somehow, I felt it, that emotion you were trying to convey.
This incredible Kariza. Keep up the good work
I’m so glad I found your channel! You’re so unique and I binge watch your videos! Starting my own channel and I’m definitely trying to learn your vlogging methods! :)
