Hope you feel better soon.. I had Covid end of June / early July ... was quite ill .. not sure I've fully recovered... I think I'll be wearing my mask for the winter months..🤣

Tape up the end of the Pin pointer so it doesn't wear thru and cause a leak. Liquid Electrical Tape works very well as you can apply it again to any thickness to repair it. It has no effect on sensitivity.

i had the same problem with my garrett carrott, the end wore through. There are covers online that push over the end, they cost about £4 and i have had one on mine for approx a year, superb thick orange rubber jobbies, lovely

Must be going around again. You're the third person I've known to have gotten it in the last week. The best thing you can do is get out and be active. Hopefully you feel better soon. I know the first time I got it, it seeed to hang around for weeks. This spring, it was only a few days.

Ive had a video out every tueday for the past 3 week, no one seemed to see last weeks though?

Glaxo opened their first powdered milk factory in Driffield (in East Yorkshire where I live now) in 1934 they were a new Zealand company and made baby food and pharmeceuticals. they are now part of Glaxo smith kline group. When I was an apprentice in 1967 we stripped out all the old glaxo equipment and turned the factory (designed by the architect that designed the famous Hoover factory in Perivale, Ealing) into a Turkey processing plant for Twydale Turkeys. Today it is a housing estate! Love your videos. I still do a bit of detecting! Phil

That’s funny as I went out today for first time in a few weeks after nasty bout of norovirus! 5 hours for a gilt button and two worn Georgians but a wonderful day As you say it’s the best medicine Hope you make a speedy recovery x

I hope your outing cheered you up some after being so sick. The fresh air is probably why you didn't keel over. Stand up slowly, to give your body time to adjust to the change in position. I like the Apex and have been torn about using it for the past couple of weeks, its a great machine, its just that I have been using my max since 2018 and its like an extension of my arm I know it so well, The Apex is a machine with all the tech :-)
