Great day out that Dan some mint finds! Love it thanks for sharing keep up the hard work mate. Answer to your question I think the green part of the field is green manure farmers plant it in the winter then plough it in before it goes to seed its like a natural fertiliser for the ground before the next crop goes in 👍🏻

Another cracking day on the field Dan, wide ranging selection of finds, triple silver and your first silver spoon ( we're on three now 🤣) the cuflink and clog clasp are littles beauties too, plenty of coins roman, predecimal and a jetton, good bit of land I'd say, enjoyed and liked my friend. Wee hint When you take your gloves off, and the rubber palm one are better, tuck them under yer oxters. Armpits for southerners, preferably inside your jacket, but outside will do. Retains the heat, so as you don’t stuff damp hands into chilled gloves.

I use a gopro hero 9 on a chest mount and tripod sometimes for all the action shots, and then I use my phone galaxy s22 ultra for the close up shots and photography 😁👍
