When Killmonger says that he's "Feelin' it" is a call back to Black Panther when his character is in the museum and takes the classic comic Killmonger mask. Ulysses asked if the mask was Vibranium too, to which Killmonger replied "Nah, i'm just Feelin' it". I loved that part in this episode

If you notice Killmonger's scars are only half way through his body, opposed to the live-action where it's pretty much the whole body You could say this is a continuity detail as we are technically seeing Killmonger earlier in the timeline, so he has less time to put scars on his body

I like that the subtle difference between Iron Man 1 Tony Stark and What-If? Episode 6 Tony Stark is the latter retains his arrogance and cockiness, not nearly losing his life meant that he still felt invincible despite the close call; and it shows, notice how as Killmonger gained the upper hand against the Liberator Prototype Tony didn't even try to call the cops or run... He expected his creation to come out on top. Iron Man 1 Tony Stark having already had a brush with death would definitely have tried running or a backup plan.

One of the few things I noticed in this episode is that in the scene right after the "Stark In Dust" part, The Watcher is placed in the background as usual, yet he has an upset expression. I took that as a hint that having to see all of these darker realities and not being able to do anything about it is starting to take it's toll.

16:14 those words and Chadwick blended with the Watcher was a great touch. Chadwick will forever remain in the MCU and with his fans.

I totally forgot that Shuri at this point during the first Iron Man movie was still around 10 or 11 years old. The events of the Black Panther movie wouldn't be until 10 years after Iron Man. Really puts things into perspective when they introduce characters from the later films and put them all the way at the beginning. Loved it entirely. In this What If, she's still basically a young genius.

When the Wakandans said "For T'challa", I got a bit teary eyed thinking about Chadwick Boseman.

I never really thought about this before, but what you said about Tony getting a second chance struck a chord... Robert Downey Jr. *IS* Iron Man. Like, literally. Rich, playboy... recovering alcoholic. I should've seen it before, tbh. *Favreau knew exactly what he was doing.* He saw a broken actor, trying to be a better person and... He actually made it happen! He redeemed RDJ, by getting RDJ to redeem Stark. And that's a beautiful thing.

I found another detail,when Tony decided to do trade with klaw ,it was a direct reference to AoU where klaw was first mentioned and Cap stared at Tony as if he has sold something to him but Tony sarcastically denied that.

The joke Tony Stark made with Killmonger "they all came at the king... And missed" is a reference to the well known line "you come at the king you best not miss", I'm sure most of you know this; but actually it served as an indirect tribute to the man who first said the line, Michael K. Williams who died 12 days ago and 9 days before this episode aired.* *ofc the episode was written before he died which is why I said INDIRECT tribute

I couldn't help but notice that Killmonger's plan to win Wakanda was similar to Loki's in 1st Thor movie. Making the enemies attack on his own kingdom and then killing the enemies to prove his loyalty.

The longest Tony survived in what if is In the zombie episode which is set about the same time as infinity war maybe a few day's earlier so his death can't be an absolute point because endgame and the zombie apocalypse are set in a different year However in visions case it's possible that he did die at same day in the zombie episode and in infinity war

You missed a big detail! When Ross walks by a recruitment posters, we can see that it's Tony's picture from the slideshow in Iron Man 1 where he receives that award, plus it's captioned Only You Can Avenge Tony Stark, and the terminology is referencing the fact that Tony is an Avenger in many other realities. Sorry if the first sentence of my comment sounds rude at all; you're amazing at what you dol I just wanted to draw attention to my comment in hopes that you'll see it. Great video, as always!

Man whosoever did the voice of Tony did and phenomenal job!!!! He really captured the energy of RDJ and it really felt like he was dubbing Tony but still no one can be RDJ better than RDJ himself!!

I didn't like the voice of Tony, I mean it doesn't even feel like Tony's character. For instance the voice artists of Steve and Peter were so good and they embodied the characters really well .

@@anushajain8198 When I first heard him, I thought they REALLY hired Tony, but after 3 minutes of him talking I didn't find the "sassyness" or Ego in that voice, you know what I mean? RDJ's like makes his own rule and dialogue and if he wishes he dis obeys the directers, that feeling was not there otherwise I am pretty sure that guy did his best, also, the fact that he agreed on the first part( to accept the hate from people) is really appreciated. Though he didn't got any but still.

5:07 No, he's not looking at the audience. That's....pretty obvious? His line of vision isn't going through the screen, pass the fourth wall. He's still looking in his space. He was looking away from Tony, as to feign embarrassment, or as to not give Tony any hint about his true intention. Also, the Stark in Dust thing is a bit farfetched. the "R" wasn't even damaged, so it read "Stark Industr", which doesn't make sense.

The "Stark In Dust" got me. Splendid detail.

That Black Panther funeral hit me directly into the heart. It was like it wasn't meant for T'challa but for Chadwick Boseman.

That sonic taser is like a hand-held version of comic Klaw's blaster.

In killmonger and tony fight, i was reminded of iron man 3 where he says "thats the thing about smart guys, we always cover our asses" as he had backup plans, but here he could have easily just given an order to jarvis that if he fails send the evidence, but chose not to, is it a plot mistake or maybe them showing that he is too confident and arrogant to believe he will lose.

I can't tell if the scene "They came for the king and they missed" part '-and they missed' is said by Tony and Monger or just Tony. Because if it's only Tony who said it, it'll be a great detail of how Killmonger didn't miss his target.

When Killmonger takes T'challa's glove and says "This I'm really feelin" Also a callback to Black Panther where he takes the African mask from the museum and says "Nah, I'm just feelin' it"

I thought the final scene where shuri reveals to pepper what happened was actually information she gathered from Killmonger. In the scene where killmonger turns on the robots again, he says "Stark must have built a backup", to which she responds to physically. I think that slip up from killmonger lead shuri to uncover starks back up of the evidence and then reveals it to pepper. It makes sense that if Tony had evidence, he would create a back up, in case something happened to him or the evidence itself

Man that Stark In dust proves how much you love to find all the details. Kudos Lad! Huge fan :)

Nobody caught one thing that I noticed on my second watch and I was really expecting you would. This episode takes place during the first Iron Man which we know takes place in the MCU timeline before Incredible Hulk. In the Incredible Hulk, Ross is a 3-Star general but in this episode he's a 4-star general. While it's only one rank difference it's a big deal rank wise. But what else is interesting is that in the Incredible Hulk (and in the comics and every other piece of media thus far), Ross is a General in the US Army but here he's a General in the US Air Force. That is a big difference. Based on this authority he seems to have, I would even go so far as to say he might be the Air Force General on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. None of this really has a play in the episode as a whole but I think is just interesting to show that even in the What If worlds, things can still be different without it having much affect.

Tbh I need to endings to all the what if’s, who else wants to see more of zombie MCU

I think that he’ll be getting a redemption arc. Watcher said something like “Heroes are born from darkness,” Killmonger was also born from darkness, and we know that Killmonger will be a member of the Multiverse Avengers.

To the moment that we see Ross preparing for another attack in Wakanda we can see in the background a picture that says "Only you can avenge Tony Stark", reminding the role as an Avenger that in this reality he was never able to fill up

Even though we are fully aware of Killmonger's motives... his "Wakanda forever" really didn't sit well with me and I knew there must be a reason with such great voice acting so I really like the explanation of him not caring about Wakanda and only seeking his own power

A detail that I noticed, was that Killmonger has less scars in this episode, than in Black Panther because there’s about a 10 year difference between Iron Man and Black Panther. He wouldn’t have had killed so many people at this point in his life.

I hope in season 2, they make an episode for Old Loki, *What if Avengers 1’s Loki had a* *better plan?* ...oh! *and never was found by the TVA?*

" Ulysses Klaue " played by Andy Serkis is the director of " Venom: Let there be Carnage " movie... He's a great actor and I think he's not done with MCU yet as this movie's post credit scene is gonna crossover through Multiverse

The way he added Chadwick pic in the end when watcher says "heroes live forever" just gave me chills

awesome stuff dude, i watched this episode 5 times and I was 100% sure you wouldn't be able to come with new details but you did, really appreciate your videos keep up the good work

6:45 He also looks at the baseball when he has the idea. In Honey I Shrunk The Kids it was the baseball that made the shrink ray work

I found some more details in all the episodes but about this one, the liberator drones has angled armour so the bullets get deflected though this is not really a big detail

The part where Killmonger took T'Challa's glove and said, "This I'm really feeling." reminds me of when he was in the museum doing the heist and when Claue asked him if the mask was vibranium killmonger then said, "Nah. I'm just feeling it".

Killmonger was like: *I'm 4 parallel worlds ahead of you*
