5:00 To be fair there was a whoosh sound...just not nearly as loud as Steve or Bucky.
When Cap asks Peter where he’s from, it’s a call back to where Dr. Erskein was from, the doctor who gave him his powers and gave him the talk about being having power and being a good man. Erskein tells cap he’s from queens in their first interaction, so when Peter said he was from queens too, I think thats why Cap chuckled a little, because someone who had “heart”, was from the same place as the person who taught him what it means to have “heart”. 10:00 just a detail that found to be pretty meaningful.
@sgardner4313

Good catch -- I just thought b/c they're both from NYC, but had forgotten the detail about Dr. Erskein.
I don't think Bucky falling during the roof jump scene was necessarily indicative of Cap being a better Cap, except if you factor in Bucky's disability (his lost arm). Our arms account for a *ton* of our ability to balance ourselves. If you can't feel your arm, or your arm is tied behind your back, try jumping over a long gap. You'll definitely wobble. It's not entirely the arm itself that balances your weight, but your brain's ability to calculate your center of gravity using physical sensation. Bucky's strength is also his weakness, which was probably intended to be of narrative significance there... since it is. His lack of feeling.

@Veldrusara

@@donlywoodward5565 True, or at least it was true during this movie. Possibly not anymore, since it's now made of Vibranium, which is extremely lightweight. Vibranium seems heavier than it is because it's supposed to be the metallic equivalent of diamond, making up for its light weight with tensile strength and thus the kinetic force it can transfer into what it hits. Theoretically it can crack but can't bend, and if it cracks, it would go all the way through whatever object it was made of. But yep! And Bucky's stance is always noticeably wonky to account for its weight difference.

@@giornikitop5373 I think it has less to do with Peter holding back and more to do with _how_ Cap subverted him. He didn't straight overpower him, he thought his way out, using momentum and his whole body to gain the upper hand. While I think the MCU Spider-Man and Captain America are _closer_ in strength than their comic counterparts, given the power displayed by Spidey, Cap would still likely lose a direct competition of strength.
@giornikitop5373
Жыл бұрын
@@anonymousaccordionist3326 of course in MCU you can't have the full power of the characters, because the fights will last a few seconds and that will be a boring a movie. but the fact is still the same, peter will never fight cap with intension of hurting him. it doesn't matter what cap uses, if spidey really wanted, his strength, speed, durability and agility are so far ahead, that cap wouldn't be able to land a single hit. and even if he somehow did, than wouldn't cause any damage. their fights are more like play-fighting than anything else.
It can also be possible that Captain was already closer to Panther than Panther was from Bucky from the beginning. As we saw in Infinity war, cap and panther both were running with the same speed.

Every time i look at these phase 4 movies and TV shows my mind goes back to the good old days of Civil War. Not Endgame or Infinity War but Civil War. It was just the perfect movie to kick start phase 3. Ground based which meant no flashy heroes with extravagant superpowers (except Wanda and Vision who were perfectly managed by the directors). And my favourites Cap and Tony going at it, each having a logical standpoint about the conflict. Ah man nostalgia.

4:18. Cap damages the floor when he lands 😮
Also, at 4:24 you can see that when cap lands, he makes a little kind of a dent on the ledge....cool detail i found while watching this breakdown 😅
Greatest breakdown exists: 1. Mind stone colour changed to red I never noticed this even though i have watched this movie like 15 times 2. Vision flying ability: he lowered his body density to fly 3. Emotional scene between Cap, Tony & Bucky This climax portion alone gives me too much goosebumps Man, tony's reaction when he finds out that bucky killed his parents and Cap knew this but never told him, And We can see How Helpless Cap was. Amazing breakdown lad. Now waiting for Both Avengers: IW & EG breakdowns again 🔥
Really a great little detail that Peter responds to "Where you from?" with his home borough instead of the city. Just a very "New York" type of thing, from what I can tell, that communicates a lot to the audience about the character and their identity. Dialogue written accurately for a kid from Queens to a guy from (1920s-40s) Brooklyn.
10:28 you forgot to point out that the line Ant-Man says is a reference to Sony Spider-Man 2, played by Joey Diaz. In Spider-Man 2 it happened at the train fight, when the people stood between doc Octopus and a beaten Spider-Man, Joey said “you wanna get to him, you gotta go through me”. First time in film history people stood up for the hero instead of the hero standing up for the people. Kinda nice they added this line into civil war
This is an amazing movie. Marvel has done an amazing job. What you have done is amazing as well! Catching so many small details is so tough! I hope Marvel takes your advice from this video and the previous ones to make the next movies better
See a thing you also miss is we actually can sumize that Spider man Catching Bucky's punch when he himself was going for one was his spider sense warning him about the punch incoming
Civil war should be considered as an Avengers movie....
You could argue the first time we see Spider-Man use his spidey sense was when Tony went to NY to recruit him and tossed his web fluid at him. Peter then caught the web fluid without even looking
My guy really needed a break from all the recent trash and rewatched the good ones
You know why this movie is so good ? Because it's about the detail of Captain America itself 🤟
This was a great addition. Love the details you picked up and shared.
Everybody always gives the actors and directors all credit for these things, but its videos like this that really show just how much more work the thousands of people put in behind the scenes, those many people who really need more recognition than just a a their name on a credit roll. When bucky is at full rage, even Cap struggles to fight, he even stoped his shields and attacks with ease... and almost destroyed Tony's arc reactor... Spider man is easily way way stronger than both Bucky and Steve. Like many times stronger. Super serum gives peak human ability. Spiders are different where some spiders can lit 150 to 200 times their weight. He was just way inexperienced

@@harish123az Yes. Spidey is stronger than Bucky and Cap together times ten.
One detail I just noticed as I watch it again is that Spiderman is shown to be faster than most people, he starts behind the group in the airport fight but is ahead of everyone when a wide shot is shown
Damn smooth transition @ 4:38 dude ;) Being an editor myself. That was the highlight of this video so far.
7:00 also density is described as the amount of molecules packed together. By increasing the distance between them, she decreases Vision's density. Edit: 8:27 but I don't think Cap knows if he can lift it by himself tho😂
11:29 that's why they all *Team Cap*
Excellent break down! Hats off for you, Canadian Lad!!!!
Love the details, so many cool ones. I thought the "go through me one" and then vision just does it was obvious, ngl. Love your work.
It’s kind of goofy to look at but at 9:10 you can see that captain America spins one way to start his kick, then another when the scene changes. Small editing error lol
5:08 but that's still an inaccuracy? The whoosh sound is created by the body piercing through the air, not the body making those sounds.
Canadian lad u did it again this is probably the best video u have done and this is why we love you these are the details nobody would have ever thought have existed and u seen them this is another reason why the people at marvel need to hire you beacause u could do justice for all of these characters. Thank you Lad you are the best
The point about the Russos framing shots is why I love their movies. They make it clearly readable by the audience especially in action scenes (just like most Hong Kong action directors) when most Hollywood directors and editors would just constantly use cuts every second or two which is really annoying and makes it hard to follow the action.
After watching this video.. i was like 🤔🤔 have I seen this movie more than 50 times, which i literally Did, man still feels like a new movie ❤❤❤
Thank you for extra details for captain America civil war so beautiful
Oh wow you are amazing! I really needed this. I miss the old Marvel so much
Even after years 7 years these scenes are giving me goosebumps 🔥

Now waiting for jhon wick 0.25x speed review.....
i just love your breakdowns........it keeps giving me old mcu memories.........even if i watched your videos... after a little gap i would watch it again when i check out your channel sometimes or if it's on my recommendation.....and ngl you're a hell of a finder...i should admit that... and your videos make me see depth of the movie...maan i miss old marvel...i hope old marvel comes back....keep uploading lad .......!!
8:30 Dude you made me watch this scene at replay many times ....it was heck of a notice u did there
Here's another detail. Wonda's arm movement when forcing Vision to release Clint is a large swing open, as to release or make him lighter. Then she brings her arms together as if to compress/make Vision more dense. The body language for her movements is very deep in this movie.
3:50 I thought this because he might be racist

I've been avoiding videos like this for so long because I the they were Absolute silliest. But you are great . I'll be watching more of them.
Civil War OP! Kudos to Marvel🎉 And ofc, your efforts to bring out these details Lad.
Man,I think you're the only one who can catch this many details from a single movie😅
Civil War is my fav Marvel film. I watched it everyday when i got home from school for like a month when it came out on Netflix. Airport scene might be my favourite thing ever lmao.
Cool detail: when cap lands when jumping off the building he leaves a small little crater where his foot landed on the ledge
Insane details!! Disney+ should hire you for this.
05:17 I'm sorry canadian lad but i don't think you're right here. That fast camera movement could be because of the less gap between T'challa and Steve. Afterall, all of them won't be running in sync. Plus, i think there was a scene in infinity war where Black Panther was clearly shown outpacing Captain. But whatever makes you happy.

8:49 when Spider-Man shoots his webs you can see some liquid web-fluid flinging off of the solid webs. This shows Peter hadn’t perfected the web fluid and it wasn’t completely efficient
Soo good man I didn't knew all this before especially that mindstone turning red wow
4:44 Bruh I think I'm gonna puke after watched this edit
If i am not wrong, spidey is the only one among all of them who actually pulls his punches throughout the fight scenes. That's what makes me respect him the most out of all the heroes.

They're all pulling their punches or fighting defensively. None of them want to hurt their friends and Cap's side are only trying to escape to go fight the five other winter soldiers. Maybe only Black Panther is going almost full mode cuz he wants to kill Bucky.

It's funny cause you probably right in other movies But just watched the clip again from Spiderman where Ironman is talking to Spiderman homecoming after the ferry split in half.... and in Ironmans own words (via the remote controlled suit) he said something to the effect of "If cap wanted to put you down he would have" Also in the fight at the airport Wanda throws black widow And says to hawkeye "You were pulling your punches"
I love your channel TCL. You make me learn so much about these movies!
My favorite analysis so far !! 👏😉
5:30 what if the distance between black panther and Captain America is less therefore camera didn't get enough time to move?

No no no. It's because Cap is Flash's cameraman.

Also shows how powerful Spiderman is. He casually catches Bucky's punch
Again you have done a great work, Ofcourse I loved Marvel's Movies but I'm loving your videos of hardwork and dedication to provide such details. You deserve a award for your work. Keep it up.
Another detail I noticed is how bucky was gonna punch peter till Pete caught it and not only was buck impressed someone caught his punch when even cap struggled with it with both arms behind his shield but then he heard Pete's voice and realized how young he was and started to lower his arm with a shocked look on his face before Sam came and grabbed Pete
