Tarkowski’s tackle on diaby was horrendous defiantly went in to hurt him if that tackle was on a city or Liverpool player it would of been a different story var didn’t even look at it baffling

The referees primary role is to protect the safety of the players. Failed to do that the last two times he’s reffed us. Shocking! I feel there will be more of these frustrating games to come. But we are still up there and put ourselves in a great position. UTV

A point against Everton away isn't a bad result. Dyche sets his teams up to be difficult to beat. You mention the Twarkowski tackle on Diaby the commentator said he got the ball. However there was a trip by Mykolenko right before that on Diaby which off set his footing, this seems to have been missed. Enough for a pen I am not sure but you have seen them given especially if Diaby went down. End of the day we are still 3rd 3 points ahead of Tottenham who are 5th. This is dreamland for Villa and Unai is doing a magical job. I just wish he would play Diaby and Bailey on opposite wings and have them interchange to keep the opponent guessing. Top 4 is on. UTV

Everton escaped this game with 1 yellow btw... Ollie got a yellow for jumping. Carlos threw the ball away? yellow. Coleman thundercunts the ball into row Z? All good mate. Just a frustrating game all around. That ref clearly has no idea what he's doing, the second game we've had him and the second time he's lost control of the match and let the crowd decide what way decisions went.

Honestly, in my opinion, the referee and the whole game were biased towards Everton, but the Villa was phenomenal, but after the goal disallowed, we just couldn't get another (UTV)

I would have taken a draw before the game. I think perspective is needed mate we have come along way and done very well. However everton got well beaten in their last game and Dyche demanded a reaction. On another day we win by the odd goal. I think the players are bit tired lets hope they can rest up for the next game.

Al the refs are totally shite , we won't win the league, but we must get top 4 this season. Stop with the pressure of top spot and just focus on top 4. Come on villa

Great pod Max as normal , didn’t create enough but mainly down the the crap refereeing decisions which stopped the flow of the game , take a point move on to the geordies 👍

I’ll say it again - F*** VAR and it’s boring protracted checks for a thousandth of a millimetre of a stud over the line. 🙄Completey ruins the flow of the game and fans are in a constant state of wtf over whether to celebrate or not.
