The first season of Loki was already my favorite Mcu series, but with this 2nd season it is becoming one of my favorite superhero series, the direction, the production design, the actors, character interactions, cgi, mysteries, twists , tension, the music is outstanding, it is a very complete series

Theory: the event that caused the threshold to be reached in the season one finale beyond which He Who Remains did not know what happened next and essentially started the branching, was Ms. Minutes activating the failsafe by telling Ravona to go to Victor Timely. He Who Remains probably realized that Ms. Minutes had activated it and realized that Sylvie was going to kill him and he let her do that without putting up a fight in the end.

I get what you're saying but nah, that's not it. Has to be Kang escaping from the quantum realm because with Kang free HWR can't rule so his plans can't go accordingly. That's probably why right after he said he didn't know now what was gonna happen next because kang's escape wasn't supposed to happen according to his plans. That's also probably why the timeline was branching out because of Kang. He's the main guy everybody needs to watch out for but nobody is

Yeah… so…..

We are watching a snake eat it’s own tail at the end of this episode. Watching the end of the TVA means we are about to see it’s beginnings. Everyone will be sent back to their original timelines except Loki since he’s time slipping into theirs. It could have been it was Loki who took Mobius, Cassie, and B15 off the timeline originally which also is the time they find themselves in now, and set them on the path that lead them to the TVA. Maybe OB is like Kangs memory. He knows he will lose his memory, or another one of his variants must come into possession of the TVA first for it to end up in his hands, maybe OB is his partner and he wiped his memories of their true friendship to make him a sleeper cell moderator of the TVA. The broken statue at the end of time could even be Loki. Him and OB might have been who the two other time keepers are based on. I also don’t think it’s a coincidence we saw Victor and Mr Fantastic get spaghettified. Could be an Easter egg of their lineage. He could find himself being reassembled in the 31st century with the tech to power his ideas. I noticed one time keeper has eyebrows that flare up like Loki’s crown, the other has a mustache just like Mobius and the last looks like Kang. Also Ravonna is probably a Kang variant because now that she is in the void she will probably dominate Alioth and weaponize it…something Kang says he does. I don’t think that was a lie, I think he said “I,” as in a Kang variant. It could be why the TVA only allowed secluded lonely Lokis alive on the sacred timeline. He wanted to ensure that the only Loki’s capable of partnering together with their variant reach him at the end of time and do what him and his variant Ravonna could not. Work together. In the previous episode when Mobius said he didn’t want to know who he was on the timeline and wanted to thanks whoever brought him to the TVA and “got him this pie,” he doesn’t know he’s referring to Loki who literally just asked him if he wanted a pie and brought him one. When they are walking angry at X-5’s taunts they get lost and Mobius says “where are we, I was following you.” And Loki says “you were clearly ahead of me” this is a literal description of their journey in this causal loop. Loki takes Mobius off the timeline because he needs him and despite Mobius being at the TVA before him and Loki “clearly following him,” Mobius claims he is following Loki which will turn up to be true if Loki ends up on his timeline and knows he needs him at the TVA…in his past and future, so maybe Loki was the one to take Mobius, B15, and Cassie off the timeline and erase their memories putting them at the TVA originally long before Loki got there…like a snake eating it’s own tail

correct me if i'm wrong, but because magic was not allowed in the TVA wouldn't that have made the stones useless? it's off now so i'm imagining they would be of some use if charged with a good amount of magic energy or something like that. i doubt the infinity stones are going to come into play. but maybe, considering last season they already teased that they get infinity stones and use them as paper weights, and again we see them in this season too.

That bit where OB builds the extremely detailed model set and says he's sorry it's not to scale because he was in a hurry is a nod to Doc Brown's model set of the town square in Back To The Future and he says the same thing to Marty.

I'm super excited about the next episode! My theory is also that Victor didn't die but that he just got sucked into all timelines. He's been a con man the entire time, so he's all about lying to our crew. He Who Remains may have built a plan that was delivered to Victor that he could execute. All timelines were merged into one massive line, and He Who Remains said he started the last multiversal war, so Timely could be doing it this time. I've watched that scene multiple times now, and the strands shown were pulled together.

This show is obviously being filmed on a studio set, and I think that that filming constraint is forcing them to be tighter with their writing and budget and that's why the show is so much better. The only other marvel series I know was mostly fully on a studio lot was Wandavision, and that one was also incredible with its' writing (not counting the fist fight ending). In conclusion, marvel needs to go back to its' television roots and film TV shows on studio lots more often again.
