Dean actually didn't have a particularly deep voice until 04x01, because... reasons. But yeah, this was a hilarious episode all around. supernatural has a lot of bizarrely meta episodes that are hilarious. Watching the series is a huge time investment, but a WILD ride. Also stake because trickster = Loki = Baldur being killed with mistletoe wood, I believe.

To break out of the seasons 4-5 cage, The Girl With The Dungeon and Dragons Tattoo is a delight, as well as Fan Fiction and Don't Call Me Shurley ( though this one has major series spoilers) Scoobynatural is sweet wholesome fun and hilarity. Hibbing 911 is cute, Beat The Devil is full of wild twists and turns, Road Trip has a ton of snarky humor.

I just watched random episode part 1 and you mentioned that you there were probably a lot of filler that you didn't want to watch but with a show like Supernatural that builds on itself throughout a season and sometimes through multiple seasons, the best episodes to enjoy without being lost with random episodes are the filler episodes. Especially since there are so many funny ones - just a few: s3e11 Mystery Spot s4e8 Wishing Well s11e8 Just My Imagination s13e6 Scooby Doo

Season 1-5 are just really good specially the first three seasons but I couldn't watch after that.

Mystery Spot, The French Mistake, Just My Imagination, & Wishful Thinking are good ones to do as standalones.

Ahhh mAh boi Gabriel , trickster, Loki Low-key In my top 10 character of the series Told yah you would be better to watch a trickster episode than finale hahaha

Your laughter is lovely; I hope you get to use it often. Nobody does meta like Supernatural. Fully tongue in cheek, but they execute it so seamlessly and brilliantly.

so i just found you channel and it was so fun~ can i recommend my other comfort show? it's called "hannibal" from nbc. yes, it's about that thomas harris' hannibal and it's GREAT and an insane show. it's a dark show and, i dont know, the pace may be slow if you pick an episode at random, but im curious to know how someone that never watched it would react and how they would understand what's going on. one of the main actors of the show said we should recomend 2x13 to someone that never watched it. so if you ever wanto to do it...

Ye,low fever is so funny. Other good ones to watch are mystery spot which is both hilarious and tragic, and also French mistake, which is really meta. Like massively meta and hilarious. But my number one recomendation is the pilot as it sets everything up including the chemistry between the brothers.

Changing Channels, Mystery Spot and French Mistake are my favorites! I probably like Mystery Spot the most though. :)

The french mistake is only funny if you've watched the show, if you haven't it's just pure nonsense lol. It's like recommending the musical ep of Buffy with 0 context. It's not going to work unless you know what's going on with all the characters.

The pilot, Provenance, Advanced Thanatology, Yellow Fever... Bloody Mary... The Benders... Family Remains... Playthings is creepy, but then anything with creepy children freak me out. Bad Day at Black Rock. The Curious Case of Dean Winchester... There are so many good ones.

Yes! Absolutely watch Yellow Fever!!! It’s the episode that I first watched and it got me hooked!!! FF to now I’ve seen the series beginning to end many times over lol I DO NOT recommend “the French mistake” as a random episode… I know it’s special to fans because of all the inside jokes but the episode will not mean much to someone who isn’t familiar with the show or cast.

People will keep recommending "one more episode" until you've watched them all. 😂 Also, since you mentioned you watched the show Loki, you do realize another name for him is "the Trickster", right? Loki is one of Gabriel's identities over his centuries on Earth in SPN. 😉

When I first watched supernatural on TV my local TV station had a really confusing schedule in which they first showed season 1 and 2 episodes, and "newer" episodes right after (but the newer ones in a random order). Made for a really confusing experience when I had gotten to the monster of the week type show and suddenly this came on

Funniest "French Mistake" most tragic imo "No Rest for the Wicked"

Fun reaction to a great show! I would recommend a random episode (4x10 - "Hush") of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" which ran for seven seasons with a total of 144 episodes. There are multiple fan favorites in the series but the episode I recommended doesn't necessarily need a bunch of backstory to enjoy it.

Just because I’ve seen people recommending it: as much as I love The French Mistake, it is very lore heavy and I wouldn’t recommend for this particular series. Not only are there references to previous seasons but also their real lives as well, the entire episode is a super fun almost fever dream to experience but you’d need so much information in order to fully appreciate it

@@Rakhim99 Buffy is a very connected show so it would be hard to choose an episode where you wouldn’t need additional context. That said, if you’re doing a Buffy random episode, here are a few to consider: Hush (season 4 episode 10), Ted (season 2 episode 11), Halloween (season 2 episode 6), or Band Candy (season 3 episode 6). Several will tell you to watch an episode from season 6 called Once More With Feeling, but don’t. You need a lot of subtext to really appreciate the episode.

Glad to hear someone saying good things about the incredible hulk for me it's one of the best movies in the mcu and a movie not many people talk about and even less saying good things about it, even you just calling it decent is high praise when compared to what other people say about the movie

I watched an interview where Jensen Ackles the actor playing Dean mentions that both he and his "brother" purposely lowered the tone of their voice as the seasons went on. I never really noticed till the later seasons though.

If you like their humor you'd definitely love the show itself. The entire cast has a lot of improv scenes and jokes and it was all hilarious to watch and the story's pretty damn good in my opinion

I do like the concept, and while I think watching most commented or the most recommended best episode is great, the idea is that it's random, which I guess all of it is random to you since you know nothing, but it's not random to the fandom, your picking the most liked, viewed and recommended which means it isn't random at all, I think the way to make it most random is to do a random generator thing, where it spins how many seasons there are, 15, then put in how many episodes in whatever season won. That way it's completely random. But either way I do like watching you react.

Please do a Part 3!! If you like the comedy aspect I’d suggest “Yellow Fever” like many others did, but if you’re intrigued with some mild lore and more of the brotherly bond/family plotline of the show, which is usually more heavy, I’d go with “Mystery Spot” & it still has that hint of humour to it, etc. After that, I strongly suggest watching all 15 seasons in order.👀😆 It truly is that good.
