9:13 The blow instrument is a variation of some sort of Ney, it's Middle Eastern/Turkish. The notes sound "off" sometimes but they're not according to our scale. It needs getting used to but it's really satisfying when you start to feel it.

While common at harder levels, playing the marimba with four mallets is still a skill that takes time to learn. The marimba player did great.
I'm a simple person, I see Ichika smiling in the thumbnail, I click
I am so happy that you are making these videos. Even if rare, they are always a treat. You can see yourself that you are inspiring talented people, while at the same time see the appreciation we all have for the thousands of hours you've put into this. You have the ability to complement where compliments are due no matter their approach, and the entertainment value is top notch. As always, our wish is that you keep doing what you're doing. Cheers, an amateur musician from Norway.
When you realize theres talented guitarists all around the globe
I always find it fascinating to see how each musician can rearrange and interpret a song in a very personal way, and create something new with it!
That flute-like insteument was 'ney'
Yeeesss Danny Yau!! The boy have a great channel and deserves more recognition!
its normal to play with 4 sticks on the marimba, but not normal to play as well as he did. he hadalot of phrasing and character to his playing. i marched for 3 years and even got an offer to march professionally. i played everything in the pit, every marching drum you can name, and i was a keyboardist too. that guys marimba skill is on another level. truly beautiful playing and technique.

OMG Thank you so much for the compliment on my piano cover! You are the best 😭 Cheers!
The drum “cover” fit so damn well, I need that drummer and ichika to collab, he perfectly matched ichikas playing. Usually when ichika translates his guitar riffs to songs with other instruments he changes the part to better fit a standard song. But just have ichika go crazy and build around him completely tbh.
Yes ichika, you are a legend and an Idol for so many of us guitarist and musicians alike. Together, collectively, we love your contribution to music and you as a fellow human. Keep trailblazing for us that lack the courage or resources to do so..
7:30 such badass riff and drum are so cool the end choice on the drum amazing love
OMG WHEN I SAW THE SWEET COVER !! i have waited sooo long to see him react to that video
If ichika asks you if he can play your guitar, that's like if you're favorite singer asked "hey can I sing with you?" Such a high praise coming from one of The Greats 🙏
10:38 is he implying that he has MULTIPLE HARPS??????
It's heart warming to see someone so dedicated to their craft with this much humility.

The flute like instrument is a "ney" Ichika! My dad plays it aswell, it is used in middle eastern music in different ways but in Turkey it is considered a traditional instrument that is closely connected with the mevlevi culture. Thanks for liking it :D
