I just discovered how terrible I am on acoustic! Those strings REFUSE TO LISTEN!!! SUCH INSOLENCE! The action is up near the ceiling. @@Itsshaunbewarned i'm not saying you shouldn't play anything on it. I'm saying that if you just start as a beginner, there is no need to start with an acoustic first then "graduate" to electric. It required more strength to play on it, but that's the catch. As a beginner everything is hard, even on electric. And if you just started because you want to play music that uses electric guitar there is absolutely no need to start on acoustic. It will only demotivate you more, because it's hared to play and you're not even doing what you wanted in the first place. You get finger strength from it, but as for hand movements, i don't think so that much.

Yeah i know it, i started playing like 5 years ago , but i've never put my hand on electric but when i played it for the first time that was smooth way better that acoustic and also easier

Starting out on classical or acoustic is absolutely amazing because pushing down the strings on the frets anr barring is absolutely childs play because of the higher action of classical and acoustic guitars

Dont Acoustic Guitars require more Handstrength than Classical Guitars? Im pretty sure Acoustics have more string tension than electrics and classics- sorry if it sounds rude.. maybe you meant electric? :]

@xXPurplePizzaFNaFXx what I meant was on an electric guitar barring and pushing down on strings is super easy because I played classical and acoustic

I only play acoustic because that's all I got, the one my parents got me for Christmas in high school. I play fingerstyle, which is really difficult. You'll be spending months on just one song. Days or weeks on even one bar. Speaking of bars, bar chords are much more difficult on acoustic. It's just raw sound, so a lot of sound will barely come out. You have to push the strings down hard and hold it very firmly and precisely. That got me to thinking. If I can now play the acoustic guitar decently, with a bachelor degree in music in fact(though on a different instrument, but still helpful), then electric guitar might be a pretty easy switch for me.

I used to think acoustic players were better. But it's just a different animal. I respect electric players too. Sometimes acoustic players suck on electric. I am one of them.

@@deeznuts8624 well why don't all the classical musicians just make their own list. The thing is there are things on classical and electric that are both equally hard. I'm not saying one is better than the other I'm saying they are both hard. Also this video is retarded because I don't think that's what a electric guitar player would play on acustic would not be that.
