I was diagnosed with retinoblastoma at age 3. I'm also blind in one eye and am now 28 years old. I understand the pain and adversity one goes through with a diagnosis like this but keep pushing. Being partially blind has stopped me from doing/achieving nothing. Use it as a motivator, you can achieve anything you set your mind to and WORK for.

You’re doing great. Keep pushing hard. Il may seems like nothing is happening but if you keep going long enough even without seeing the finishline for most of your journey, one day you cross it. Keep doing sport. Try to méditate, try to do small things, easy to do that you always say you would do. This way, you’re showing your brain that you’re progressing. And as always even if you dont see the result right away, keep pushing.

If you're fortunate to have a dad like this who is still alive, please let them know how much you love them. Let go of petty resentments you may hold against your parents. My dad was an amazing man who sadly passed away at far too young of an age. I can no longer go to him and hug him, tell him I love him, or thank him for all he's done for me. When your parents pass away, you'd give anything to have them back. Cherish them while you have them, because they aren't going to be around forever.

Bro you ain't lost... You may not have a father around but you are a father on your own, everything you wish a father might do for you , you build your mind to do it for yourself and pick yourself up and make yourself a better better everyday. By doing so not only you become a better person for yourself and the people around you, but also become a better person for when you become a dad on your own and your children will be talking with such a passion and love for you. Be bless bro.

My father taught me to never stop pushing. He's always loved me and has never told me to give up. The most common words he's told me in the time I've been breathing are, "If someone says to you that you're not strong enough and don't have the will to go on. You just say, 'Take a seat and watch. I'll show you I can.'" The only man in this world to ever inspire me to be a good and to be there for others. I'm proud to call him my dad.

I recently lost both of my parents. I had quit my job to focus on my Jiu Jitsu career, it was not only my dream but my Dad and Mom were soooo proud and wanted nothing more than to see me live my dream. I broke my arm really bad right before my dad passed, he never got to see me quite make it to where I want to be, but I’m doing it now, and I will never quit pushing forward and nothing or no one will stop me. This video has a lot of meaning to me because it parallels a lot of my life. I am currently a professional Jiu jitsu athlete and coach.

I cried while listening to this, the speech he gives is a reminder for you to remember your dad works hard to keep you going. He might make you feel bad sometimes, telling you "why didnt you do this correctly" bringing you down, but when he sees you down, he will hold you as if you are still small. Im 13 as of right now, im thankful to still have my father with me, he helps me with my dream to become a better soccer player, he screams at me when i make a mistake, i cry sometimes, it makes me feel like im not good enough, but i know he doesnt mean to sound mad, he just wants me to succed. I dont know what i would do without him.

Elyse Johnson I feel so proud of you and your father 💛❤️💛 I had a father that was the complete opposite. His was negative talk. But there’s an unexplainable spirit inside me I can’t begin to really explain. But what I can say is I love stories like yours because I heard them in different ways every step of the way and they pushed me. stories like this push me. I went from believing my father and being Homeless with no status to having a roof over my head, a degree, a masters and right now in a really exciting place in the career I ACTUALLY want to have. I’m still en route but stuff like this makes me cry because I can’t believe how far I’ve come. There is so much power in words and in encouragement. SO MUCH POWER. Your father is a HERO 💛❤️💛❤️ love and light to you!! I wish you every bit of success xxxx

Walter Bond is such an inspiration. His voice drives me, his emotional intelligence moves me and his words keep me charging, sweating, grinding towards my goals. I listen to him at work. Some of my colleagues laugh at me because that's their way of feeling better about themselves when they go home early and I'm working every overtime shift offered. They quit after 8hrs, I go for 12hrs and would do more if my workplace permitted. They don't understand me. They question why I work so hard, even suggesting I'm desperate for money. Money is the least of my worries. My focus is achieving the goals I've set. I want to get there quicker so I have to work harder. They don't share the same mentality. They don't understand the process of my hurt, pain, suffering to push myself everyday. I quietly laugh at them for being weak, for lack of character, for lack of courage. Only I can stop myself, but that's not an option so I continue to stay humble, grounded, put my head down and keep working. Thank you Coach Pain.

My dad is the greatest man I know. Bad childhood and he left home at 18. Went to college on his own dollar and worked as a welder and a ski lift operator in his time outside of class. Over the summers he fished in Alaska. He flunked out of college 3 times...never gave up. Now he’s a battalion fire chief with an impeccable reputation, a multi million dollar business owner and just sold his house he built for $1.7m. My dad came from nothing and it’s what motivates me every single day. I’m in the struggle right now but every time I remember he went through the same struggle when he was my age I get motivated. Keep going everyone. Rags to riches baby!

Awesome! I always picked my son up, was the first one out of bed to feed him no matter what time in the morning. He's 24 now and we are as close as ever. I love being a dad, it's my favorite thing! My dad was also my best friend and a great mentor to me and my son.

I just became a dad on June 30th, to a 16yrs-old young man. I am terrified as I am not an athletic dad who likes sports. I am more the We are the World kind of guy. I struggle with if I embarrasses him. What I do have is an abundance of love and patience.

I never had a dad around really except the first few years of my life but my mom was the one who made me the man I am today. I might not be exactly what I want or even close to it but I will become it. I will become the best person I can possibly be and I will try to repay my amazing hard working mom. I will show her that she didn’t struggle for nothing. I will show her the amazing person she has created one day.

I lost my dad last month. He was healthy and doing fine, we were laughing and talking and joking but he has a sudden cardiac arrest. Massive one. And I couldn't do anything to save him. He died with his head on my lap. I am only 20 years old. I feel so vulnerable and broken. I just wanna meet my daddy. 😭 This video was motivational. Thank you.

Great beautiful video ! So true we all have our personal mantras in life to go on...on...on... No matter what slowly Steadily and surely go on... till you no more can give the best of you at least dying you know that you did the best. Not by putting down or pulling others down. Our lives are for doing the best as we can. Love and peace to all.

Broken parents break kids. They mean well, but more negative comes out of their mouths than positive. I am a product of this, it's hard to follow dreams when you don't have one. Hard to live this life when you don't have a vision. Hard to find purpose, when all you do is fail. I am a product of this and I fight everyday just to smile.
