The first line says it all Joyful and Triumphful....

I think you may have felt a connection to this beautiful & Joyful, African (not tropical) inspired arrangement of this classic Christmas Carol on a very deep level. It touched my heart to see you connect with it. I've always found African music to sound so happy & full of fun. So alive. So when I heard this by PTX, I was beyond ecstatic.

When the Choir came in that also gave me goosebumps and makes me tear up. Trust me you wasn't the only one 😅

We give mad love to Kevin because he’s ridiculously talented, but don’t sleep on Avi holding down that bass. He’s insane, and I don’t think a lot of people know what Avi’s contribution would be like if he wasn’t on bass! Take a second listen and focus on the bass only. It’s beyond masterful.

They added a joyous vibe to a song we have song for years in church. They were celebrating the birth of Christ as the song says joyful and triumphant. All the reactions have been the same with everybody going I'm adding this to my play list. One of my favorite Christmas songs from them.

The individual voices, the ear candy, the singing in unison, the crescendo, the choir coming in, their dancing and their joy!. Makes me want to get up and dance every time!! PTX is superb.

You caught the holy ghost, there's ectoplasm in your eyes :) It really is a beautiful song and the execution was incredible. loved the African vibe and African American church feel as well.

There are two versions of this song I always come back to. The first is Bocelli/Pavarotti's Latin operatic version. The other is this one. They are two side of the same joy. One from a place of introspection and grace. The other from a place of celebration, and I am sooo glad both versions exist.

Constance, my mom said the same thing to me. She was watching my videos that I have done and told me that I look so stressed out. It has that " The Lion King" vibe. Absolutely beautiful! African twist on the song. They are all super talented, but what I like best in this song is Kevin and Avi (Kevin is the beat boxer, Avi was the bass...he was replaced by Matt)

i was right there with ya. they just have some magic. they have gotten me through the pandemic. its an emotional release.

I honestly believe this is the way this song was meant to be sung despite the fact that it's traditionally sung in a much more somber way.
