Problem with Notes is spotty sync between devices. Sometimes notes don’t sync for days, then not at all sometimes. Problem is persistent even in the latest version.

Can you scan in your handwritten notes and have it converted to typed text ?

If I usae this app to scan, the scanned pic ends up in the Notes app. How do I get it to end up as a pdf if I Want to mail it to someone?

Can anyone tell, i am using apple notes in ipad. Once i draw a any diagram, i cannot zoom it to big . How can i zoom it for drawing ? Does apple notes allow it ?

Apple note is lovely but I wish apple bring apple note to windows or android we can access out note in everywhere Just in case

Love Notes, i wish it were cross platform. Sure I can just log in to iCloud, but not the same.

Aside from checking the check boxes, you can swipe right to make a sub list.

i've been saying this for years! apple's native apps are a powerhouse went use correctly. imo they add a lot of value to the iphones, they alone are good software and you pay for it in the price. native apps on android are a joke most of the time.

I feel like Notion is just too, not complicated… but it’s just too much, you spend so much or you time trying to refine your process etc. on the iPhone it’s just cluttered? I don’t know it’s just not fun to use.

The one thing that keeps me from using Notes, is that it does not have any good ways to get your data out.

Obsidian recently released a plugin/feature that can export everything out of Apple Notes into Obsidian (where it is then stored as markdown files). In addition, there is a Mac app called Exporter that will also export Apple Notes into your desired format. However, none of these are native and I agree that not having a native export function is a big limitation. I love Apple Notes and use it all the time for personal things, but the lack of native export functionality is a concern.

@@Belanthiel That works, but not if you want your data in an editable format. Plus, if you have any attachments, those don’t come along with the PDF. You’re just missing them.

@@DanMills7 It's easy to edit PDF files on any platform, however I embed things instead of attaching so I wasn't aware of that issue. Not sure of a good workaround for a situation such as that.

Would opening the note in pages and exporting from there, eradicate your problem? You literally press “share” and then “open in pages”. Sorry if I misunderstand your issue mate. Just trying to help!
