I was sex trafficked by GirlsDoPorn Pt.1 || Consider Before Consuming Podcast

Trigger Warning: This interview includes frank, explicit, discussions about rape, sex trafficking, and suicide ideation that may be triggering to some. Listener discretion is advised.
Jane Doe grew up in Washington state with a loving family, never expecting that she’d be victimized by one of the largest trafficking schemes to date in today’s mainstream porn industry.
Twenty-one days after her 22nd birthday, she boarded a flight to San Diego that, unbeknownst to her, would change her life forever. That day, she would become one of the hundreds of young women who had been exploited between 2015 and 2019 by GirlsDoPorn (GDP), a wildly popular “amateur” porn production company that garnered well over a billion views, ranking around the 20th-most popular channel on Pornhub, and reportedly generated an estimated $17 million dollars in revenue.
You may have heard about the infamous GDP case in the last couple of years, but you may not know what exactly happened, let alone the full account of one of the trafficked women. In this exclusive interview, Jane Doe and her emotional support dog, Cozi, sit down with Podcast Host Garrett Jonsson and Fight the New Drug’s Editorial Director Keri to tell the story of how she was sex trafficked and assaulted by GDP porn producers, what it’s been like to pursue legal action against GDP with other survivors, and how she’s found healing in her own life since she was exploited.

I have a kind of similar story. I never wanted to be a model or famous or anything. In college an acquaintance who was an up and coming rapper asked me to be in a music video he told me it paid $3000 for 2 days. He held me hostage in a hotel room for hours, SA’d me and when it went public because he did it to over 30 girls the media and everyone framed it like we were money hungry and just wanted fame. We had no privacy, stories made up, we were humiliated. It took 6 years to finally get justice. He’s in prison now for 50+ years.

For anyone who wants to know, Michael James Pratt, who was one of the people who ran the site, was on the FBI ten most wanted list for a while. He was arrested in Spain six months ago (December 23, 2022). Let’s hope he gets a harsh sentence. Cheers to this young lady for telling her story. One of the bravest things a person could possibly do. Good for her!

What really makes me angry is her family worrying more about their reputation than about this poor woman's mental state. Even if you thought she was doing porn, if you see someone drinking excessively and exhibiting suicidal tendencies you SUPPORT THEM NO MATTER WHAT. The fuck is wrong with people?

As a woman I cannot even imagine the pain this brave soul has felt throughout this painful journey. I cried for half of the podcast out of disgust for what they have done to her. It saddens me to know that this happens on a daily basis and I really hope the government puts a stop to these kind of situations. Women really do need plenty of protection from sex trafficking.

I've been addicted to porn for years now. Always wanted to find a reason to quit but could never find one. Until now and regret not having been exposed to these kinds of stories sooner. I hope you continue to heal Jane Doe, and thank you for ruining porn for me.

I wish this would shown in high schools. Hypersexualization of teenagers in particular is so pervasive and most teens don't have a clue what's happening. Thank you Jane Doe for sharing yourself with such honesty and authenticity.

This terrible story is just the tip of the iceberg. Sex trafficking goes right to the top with the kidnapping of children being the most sinister and depraved aspect of it. It is hard to focus on what happens to many of those poor children. This woman is very brave to tell her story and she is shining a light on this dark side of humanity.

As former agent who worked cases in sex trafficking. I always cried when I heard the victim stories. We worked with the victims to get back into society. I ran into one of the victims several years ago and the victim is thriving and is happy with her new life.

I am an incest/childhood sexual abuse survivor-just typing that takes A LOT-and this Jane Doe described nearly all of my trauma and shame. The C-PTSD is so real. Wow. I feel so alone in the world, yet watching her I see myself. In this little bubble of the internet I feel so understood. Thank you for this episode and the tremendous courage it took to create it on her end.

Thank you for sharing your story. As a r*pe survivor myself, I was horrifically attacked as well and everyone even my family called me a liar. So many threats and so much bullying. Thank you and you made me feel like I’m not alone.

I just have to say how brave you are. I have a similar story, but I was trafficked, as a minor in a US military base. The perpetrators were army enlisted and I ended up in a military court with a female prosecutor saying how I asked for it (being drugged, raped and held captive for a week at 15)... I've spent 20 years healing with CBT, plant medicine, meditiation, diet, exercise etc. My PTSD is in full remission, thank gawd...took so much time. I've never told my story publicly and stopped telling people I have relationships with, in general, keep that smile on my face and live life. Thank you for sharing, it gives me more courage. Hypnosis and energy healing are what I do now; hope to help other trauma survivors thrive. 💖

I cannot believe that people don't want to be friends with her because of the videos, and she feels like she has to explain it right away in the beginning. My heart goes out for her, thank you for sharing your story and being so brave ❤️

This happened to a coworker's daughter on her 18th bday. Got booked at a modeling tryout in a downtown hotel. She tried escaping by jumping out of a window and fell to her death naked. Advice to everyone, never go to a private location of anyone you don't know well. If you have to then make sure you bring backup and have people who know where you are

This interview should be shown in every high school to let kids know the truth about this stuff. Terrifying.

Thanks for coming forward. I was abducted by 3 guys as a 14 year old, one of the men had only just had a baby girl with his wife. This attack led to substance addiction , being hateful towards men, even getting homicidal thought's, thought of strangulation etc due to trauma PTSD and fear. I later got psychosis and feat of sex at all costs. I'm grateful for The man who's been sooo patient with me many times I've recoiled at being touched even with affection, very non trusting and suicidal for half my life . I tried H at age 20 and lost myself. I'm 31 now and I've been healed from seklf hatred, and suicidal ideation now gone, addictive behaviours are becoming less and less. I too at 31 am going to finally write myself that book, I was too scared to get justice and this broke me. I'd be dead but I was literally saved before anything bad I'd wanted to do to myself came. I was saved by Yeshua Hamashiach or in English Jesus Christ. I'd be dead if it were not for Yahweh God. God bless you darling. Your beautiful inside and out and don't forget to love yourself like God Yahweh loves you. Xxx thanks guys I stumbled upon this and I'm crying because it does bring back memories of my assault

Omg this is HORRIFYING. I am so heartbroken for her and it makes me afraid for my daughter who is 14. I am so thankful to her for speaking out and trying to protect other girls from this same fate. :(

I'm a 27 year old male almost in tears hearing this brave strong soul speak of her experience. The idea of men including myself that may have unwittingly consumed content of such an inhumane monstrous nature makes me feel physically sick! You have my support to drop the demand and know you have helped change my habit of consuming porn. Thank you to the entire channel and survivors who have courage too speak up!
