When a little kid says that they love you (31:35), it really just breaks your heart wide open. Because kids are so innocent and don't lie, it's just so honest and pure. It reminds me of when my 60+ year old uncle watched my (then 4 year old) daughter while her dad and I were on vacation for a week. He said that they had a blast, and that one night, when he was putting her to bed, she gave him a big hug and said that she loved him. This man was a green beret in the army, but he said that he just sat and cried over that. That was 9 years ago, and they're still super duper close. Kids, man. They're an incredible gift.

as one who was adopted only because his Birth parents literally threw him away, the message of "cherish what you have, while you can" rings far too true.

This hit during the big 3D craze, which is why the end credits stuff is all playing around with that aspect of it. The roller coaster portion was absolutely insane in theater. The series is really solid for the most part, with each sequel bringing something new to the formula rather than resting on what worked and repeating. Keep watching, you'll definitely appreciate them.

The cast was stacked, and most did a great job with actually changing their voice to match their character.

The movie was originally in 3D and the end credits scene was the minions trying to get out of the screen and into the audience or something like that. (It doesn't make much sense in 2D.)

Mel, the reason why some parents have their kids on leashes is because some kids will just run off into danger in no time. You can have your kid beside you and as soon as you turn your head for a second, they'll be gone.

My 3yo son was just diagnosed as autistic and I'm thinking of getting one of those backpack leashes. If there are no physical boundaries he will just run, including into roadways. Better safe and stupid-looking than sorry and minus a kid.

The main problem with this franchise is that minions are promoted _so hard_ and plastered everywhere you look, and you hear the same lines over and over again, it's very easy to get sick of them. When taken in the proper context they're actually not bad at all

That's not a scam, that's literally legal practice now. Every company has the right to sell customer information, as long as betterhelp isn't disclosing actual medical records then that's not a scam. A scam would be them taking your money and not providing the services you paid for. What they're doing is morally wrong but legally fine. You might wanna do your homework before you start popping off

Such a great film. The first two Despicable Me was a breath of fresh air, absolutely hilarious, fun and fresh, and the film that shot Illumination to the animated studios upper rank. Sure, most of their films after would be mediocre at best, but their first try, is an absolute gem.

It was Elsie Fisher, who voiced Agnes, a real kid actress. She also dubbed the voice of Masha from Masha and the Bear.

I the beginning of the video Mell was talking about the viewers eating snacks while i was eating Cheetos and when I set them down he reached directly where I had put them to try to eat them.

Fun Fact: Illumination made a theatrical short called Mooned that takes place right after the first movie, focusing on Vector trying to get back to Earth. They even bring back that Minion that floated away. Also, about the credits, the Minions reaching out was meant to revolve around 3D effects that were super popular at the time.

Man, one summer, my baby sister wanted to watch it so much, I memorized every line and noise that would play.

Fun fact, before the release of the Minions movie, they always have random Minions for the Illumination intro. But now we have the trio (Bob, Stuart and Kevin) doing the intro. Despicable Me is definitely one of the best animated movies I've ever seen and this is where I know Steve Carrel. I've always know him as the voice of Gru just like Owen Wilson as McQueen.

he wasn't, watch The Rise of Gru. He was like a cashier at a vinyl records shop, but if you gave him the password he pointed you a way to a villain hideout. Also had potential as an inventor that's why Gru asked him to join at the end.

Honestly I can't believe this movie is 14 years old. I loved this movie ever since I was 6 years old. Awesome reaction, Man. Amazing as always. 😎

Legit good movie, and Pharrell Williams made quite a few bangers for this franchise. I remember being excited when this one turned out so well because I felt like there weren't a lot of studios producing animated features on the regular. It was mostly DreamWorks and PIXAR (Blue Sky was hanging in there kinda and Disney Animation had a bad batting average). Regrettably, Illumination hasn't really lived up to their first movie as of yet.

My mom had to put a leash on me when I was a child because, if you looked away, I'd be gone. I thought it was fun. I would run to one end then immediately the other or try to wrap it around people's legs. I was a menace. Too much energy but otherwise, quite well behaved.

I was taking out my food out the bag and mel just grabs it out my hand..

“I see you with the snacks” I mean I did just sit down to eat my chipotle 😂😂

bro to keep it e bean.. i was depressed because i was going through it financially and my job got me betterhelp and tbh it just made me realize that sharing my experience really will do nothing.. i mean i can complain all day but a million dollars is not gonna fall from the sky and that i have to want better for myself.. no one is coming to save me whether i go through one thing or three things so i should put myself in the position to want to be happy.

The human's pose and escape after the moon is shrunk looks almost exactly like that.

So this movie had came out in 3-D when it first hit theaters that end credit scene of them going far out was a bit with the minions that really only works in 3-D
