"I WAS BANNED FROM YOUR SHOW" - Therapy Gecko

Комедия

After being banned from my Twitch chat, a caller explains why he sent the message that got him banned and asks for a second chance.
Then a caller tells me how their partner’s gender transition has caused them to reconsider their relationship, and a final caller desires to create a version of himself that isn’t being held back by his horniness.
Life is short. I am a gecko.
Also I am doing a big ass tour around the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia in 2023. Click this link to join my email list and get an email when I announce the cities: forms.gle/JQwo9aVNfgxxZkXPA

It probably means they got him to resign. "Don't make this hard on us, and we'll let you leave with your reputation." Suits LEO organizations to do this. When a cop gets fired and people find out about it, they start to scrutinize the whole force. Not saying it's right that they hide from that scrutiny - personally I think the misconduct of ANY public servant, should be public knowledge. It's not like a private sector job... taxpayers fund your public service and are thus entitled to know all about your performance. I want a publication for fired cops, like they used to do with 'criminals of the day' publications you could find in some towns and cities. Lil 'wall-o-shame' type of doc. I think a resignation probably simplifies the bureaucratic side of firing a state/county/city employee, too. You'll see this a lot with bad cops being given an opportunity to resign. But it also serves the role of simplifying their paperwork and covering some liabilities they might have to worry about if they have to fire the person. Of course, this can also lead to cops just joining up elsewhere... another reason for transparency when it comes to the performance of public service. Eh... politics. Sometimes it's also just a psychological trick. The reality of the proposition is: resign now, or we will fire you. But oftentimes in that situation, the person is more likely to leave willingly if you frame it like a choice as opposed to "You're fired, turn in your crap and leave!" which can just make a confrontation... and then a possible legal battle. I mean, it seemed to work on him. He can't even decide if he was fired or not. He absolutely was... just in way nice enough that he doesn't FEEL like he got fired. I could talk about working at a private school and seeing principals fired this way. It's hard to get rid of them because of this weird immunity policy they get. So they had to 'talk him into' leaving. It was funny too, I looked up the last one we had and found a statement his last school's board made about his departure and the gist was "We met with him on how he could best improve the school, and came to the mutual conclusion that the best course of action was for him to resign." To me... that's still a firing lol. Just with extra steps because these organizations of have dumb, corrupt rules and hierarchies. Dude was such an ego, too. I think the only way to reach him is to coddle him a bit... make him feel like he's still winning... as he loses his career.

And it all starts with resentments, especially like this one is unfolding. He's treading on dangerous ground, hopefully he understands this before it's too late.

I was so with Lyle when he asked the first caller if he was fucking with him. Holy shit what a comically stereotypical pig, peaked in highschool, Napoleon complex, rage issues, the works, and it so perfectly shows why so many cops are guys like this. I hope the woman who's spouse came out as transgender reads this, but she probably won't since this episode is several weeks old and I doubt anyone watches this on KZread. It's okay to no longer want to be attracted to your partner if they come out as transgender during the course of your relationship. When I came out as trans I was in a relationship with a heterosexual man, and I knew he would break up with me when I told him. Because he's *straight*. I didn't think he would suddenly be gay just for me. No one is doing anything WRONG. They aren't doing anything wrong by coming out and you aren't doing anything wrong by no longer wanting to be with them. Asking you to ignore your sexuality and still be with them is the same as you asking them to stay in the closet and live as the wrong gender. They can't choose their gender and you can't choose your sexuality. It's perfectly okay to say "I accept and support you, but I no longer want to be with you."

That girl with the trans partner made me nervous for their partner ☹️ it sounds like her conclusion that 1) they have molded into one person and that the relationship might be a bit unhealthy, 2) because of that and since they're so young she wants more space to grow into her own person, and those are totally valid reasons to end a relationship! (even if you don't like girls and you don't want to date your partner if they become more feminine, that's valid too, but.....I feel like a lot of the reasons she doesn't like that or the idea of that are rooted in transphobia/misogyny.) I feel like if she's already come to that conclusion, that's more than enough reason to go ahead and end the relationship but I'm sad that it seemed like her partner being trans is what made her come to terms with the underlying issues. I don't think she aims to be transphobic but I don't feel like her language around it is as accepting as she claims to be or wants to be. Saying they 'accidentally came out' when they wrote a letter feels so reductive TL;DR: they should break up and she should leave anything about their partner being trans out of that decision

@@margar9021 it seems to me that their partner isn't ready to change pronouns yet personally but I agree that a lot of their language around their partner's desire to transition and kinks was very red flag worthy. It could just be they've been together too long and she's still young and ignorant. I think breaking up will be good for her and will open up her worldview more

@@brandonburns6639 right? it's obvious it isn't based on hate, so yelling "transphobe" is childish in this case (and people wonder why that word is loosing it's power, it's being over/missused too often). If it was hate driven, they would have broken up instantly. People are so quick to make assumptions, based on ideology. It's the opposite of being logical. Context clues alone prove this case wasn't transphobic, or hate driven. Anyone assuming such is doing nothing more than generalizing based on a weak foundation. Doing the same thing they point their fingers at others for doing. Hypocrisy so pure gold is jealous.

Law enforcement guy- I see a lot of people being tough on you in the comments. I think we can all collectively agree that your perception on being a cop is one of the biggest problems we have in America. But it seems like your understanding this. And I think it’s a great thing that you can now see BOTH sides. Having the power of being a cop, and getting it ripped away from you. I think it’s a unique perspective and you could do a lot of help and healing with this battle you have inside of you, but never less- always remember: you are loved, you are valuable, and the true power comes from within. Not a badge, not a car with sirens or handcuffs. But just simply embracing being human and loving each part of yourself. And congratulations on your new pool cleaning journey. We can all do amazing things with only ONE source of power, and that power is happiness. Xoxoxo 💖💖
