So many great bands. For 1970’s Gentle Giant “Three Friends” for 1990’s and still playing Aryeon (Universe Live) Polo, once you hear this you will be hooked. Arjen Lucassen is a genius. Try the “The Day The World Breaks Down”, video on KZread. I guarantee you will be gobsmacked!

Too many great ones to have only one. Notables include Zeppelin, Rush, Yes, Beatles of course, Stones, Jimi Hendrix, a few others.
One of the greatest bass lines ever recorded. The whole song is a masterclass. Great reaction.
Masterclass in Letting a song breathe.
Just remember Polo… If there was no Zeppelin there would be no Tool, Zep is the root of all hard rock!

Tool is your favorite and Led Zeppelin is your top five... you're young. If you haven't figured it out by now, if there was no Led Zeppelin, there would be no Tool or any of the other bands that you might recognize that came out in the 80s or later. No disrespect to you, I am a fan of your channel.

Best band ever Led Zeppelin
The critics at the time didn’t like them because they weren’t traditional. They wanted to hear standard blues and not “taking the blues, twisting it and turning on its head” like Jimmy said.
My favorite lyrics in this is “squeeze me baby till the juice runs down my leg, the way you squeeze my Lemmon till I fall right out of bed”🤣 I love it, classic led zepp

I will never get tired of listening to Led Zeppelin. 😊
Before there was Tool there was Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin is foundational to most rock sound since. Elvis Presley met them. He had an entire floor at a hotel and Zeppelin was invited to meet him there. Zeppelin’s crowds were bigger than Elvis’ crowds, at this point, but he was the King. You should see the story of when they met!

Led Zep are so freaking good I just laugh at how good they are 😂
They took blues ( old blues missippi ) to another level they went to the crossroads like robert
Polo --- I have to laugh because you want to think you are in control of the music you BELIEVE you are going to like or not like and that just isn't the case with music that Led Zeppelin created. As Rod Serling creator of the TV show The Twilight Zone says in the intro to the show, You are no longer in control your mind is no longer yours, you've entered The Twilight Zone. I was paraphrasing, not quoting. With Led Zeppelin you are along for a ride and at first you think you don't like it, it's not fun, it's not what you want to hear, but you are already rolling down the pathway and you can't jump off and then that feeling of not liking the ride turns to wonder and then you start to enjoy the ride, you roll the window down and you are moving faster and you want your seatbelt but there is no seatbelt. You are thrilled and laughing at your excitement that you've never been in a vehicle that you are either going to crash and get hurt or you're gonna have the ride of your life if you just take it in and enjoy the ride.

@@003333333333 --- hahahaha, that is funny. You are right,. It is very much that same kind of ride. After the boat ride Veruca Salt's father said "what a nightmare" And Veruca says she definitely doesn't want that boat, after saying she wants the boat before they go into the tunnel. Mike Teevee's mom keeps saying she's gonna get sick. Lol

I like this metaphor. I agree with it. I'm also glad you let me roll down my window because I might want a cigarette. With LZ, I know the roads well enough that I don't want a seatbelt. I just bounce around.

Best rock band ever!!! ❤️❤️❤️😘RIP John Bonham!!
One of my fave JPJ bass songs!
This is why Led Zeppelin II is their best album. Such a great comment on the individual instruments and concentrating on them....I love bass and this is a Master Class in that, but of course the rest is fantastic too, of course.
The mighty Led Zeppelin at it once again, taking old blues songs and turning them into listenable blues-rock masterpieces like this one.
You can tell from their ease in playing it that this song is Zep's stock-in-tade type of noise. They lay it down with such confidence that you can almost physically hear that they know the blues inside out. I wouldn't be surprised if this number took them about 5 minutes to write and perhaps 2-3 takes to record. It just oozes, "this is where I'm at".
Best band ever! For the next 1000 years!
If it wasn't a great song Zeppelin wouldn't release it.

great comment at 5:38 The sign of a great band when you can focus in on every one of the members. Kinda like Tool! Also the "squeeze my lemon" lyric goes all the way back to 1937 in songs by Arthur McKay and Robert Johson. Robert Plant is a student of the Delta Blues!
Oh, BOY - I can't WAIT for THIS ONE!!! :) HAPPY FRIDAY, POLO!!! :)
The bass in this song is everything to me! 🔥
Now ya gotta listen to their other " citrus" song 'Tangerine'.....beautiful tune ✌️
Like many or most Zeppelin songs, you have to listen to it a couple times and key your ears in to specific instruments. The bass in this is amazing throughout the entire song. Sometimes gets overshadowed or overwhelmed by lead guitar.
...my absolute favorite Zeppelin song. Got my first speeding ticket to this song. Great pick. Great vid.
Such a fun one. Best band ever ❤
This is one of my favorite John Paul Jones songs for Led Zeppelin. Guitar, drums and vocals are amazing as usual, but the bass makes this song walk, run and groove.
JPJ makes it soo easy to focus on that bass line. He just doesn’t stop. What a romance - he buys us dinner & drinks, courts us, and proposes all in one single song. ♥️
Polo, you once said you like bass. Some good bass playing with this number.
Blues boogie rock brought to you by Zeppelin!
You shook me is another absolute banger blues song with one of the most iconic solo sections on any zeppelin track

Old white man from Canada here. Love to the world and you, my friend. They say I'm evil but all I have in my heart is the music of my time. We listened to music back then, the whole side at a time. Looking back I would never imagine the world would be like this. God help us all. They say we treated women poorly too. Try the rock ballads. Alice Cooper only women bleed. We saw women as loving and mysterious.❤

Listen to robin trower - bridge of sigh
One of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs, off of my favorite Led Zeppelin album.
Squeeze my lemon is originally a Robert Johnson line > Mississippi Delta Blues artist> Traveling Riverside Blues , Also quoted Albert King's Killing Floor
ya mon, it's the rhythm section that is the foundation... gives guitar and voice a launching point. Heaven!
There are points where everyone runs off and chaos ensues my favorite is when it all walks back into line.
The whole song is a gem, but it’s Plant’s vocal instrument that really makes it work.

This is definitely a song where JPJ stepped out of the background with the bass and shined bright. He and Bonham on drums are so in-tune it's like a left hand and a right hand working in sync.
I have been listening to LZ since I'm 14 & my older brother got a guitar & all of their albums. I stumbled across your video reacting to Led Zeppelin & was amazed that your reactions made me emote out loud. Like YES!!! That's exactly what I felt. It's impossible for me to choose just one song to recommend although I've probably thought way too much about that. I'm along for the ride at this point. ✌
This song and album transports me back to my early teen years, it was one of those 8 tracks that got constant play
JPJ 🔥🔥
I’ve been listening to them since about 1972. Driving to school in my 1967 Mustang. Great times!!
You should play every single song you can get approved to air. Thanks one of my favorite songs of Zeppelins. Seen them twice. Try a group called Blue Cher. Summertime blues. You will love it.
Led Zeppelin transcends music genre, jazz blues rock whatever they always do it well
you have to listen the killing floor...The song “ The Lemon Song” appeared on the 1969 album Led Zeppelin II. The song was born out of Howlin Wolf's song “ Hard Time Killing Floors” which Zepplin performed in their live shows in the late 60s
❤one of my favorites
But the Bass though...
There is no bandwagoning when it comes to being a zep fan, or enjoying them. They were, and in some ways still are, the biggest rebel indy band ever. They were huge in spite of critics and media. And the master class and maturity in their playing and composition just says man, you appreciate greatness. That's all. Don't worry about perception.
Bonham ALWAYS laid down such a masterful beat, didn’t he? Every song different but with its own high points - done masterfully by artists of music.
Gotta try fool in the rain!
You Shook Me Baby and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You 🔥🔥
Zeppelin is my favorite band and I like a lot almost all of their songs, but although I like this one and find it good, I don't really listen to it. Imo there are still much better songs you've not heard yet like Ten Years Gone, Rock And Roll, Heartbreaker, The Ocean, All My Love, Ramble On, Going To California... Ten Years Gone may be the only of their greatest songs you've not heard, no ideia why no one asked you to check it out yet. Also maybe the studio version of Since I've Been Loving You may be interesting to you cause it is very different and much more concise than the live.
I haven’t listened to this song in a long time. I usually listen to their later stuff nowadays. But hearing it this morning… wow. John Paul Jones on the bass… lord have mercy!
"This is very similar to a Blues song by Howlin' Wolf called "Killing Floor." It was so similar, Wolf was eventually given a composer credit. On the original British copies of Led Zeppelin II, the label on the record lists "Killing Floor" as the third track and is credited to Chester Burnett (Howlin' Wolf's real name), while the liner lists "The Lemon Song" and credits Led Zeppelin"
Siempre me gustó. Y Asta ĺa fecha también Grande.Zeppelin.!!!
I went to sign up to sell my soul to the devil..the only things left were flower arranging, racewalking, and the panflute..The only explanation for this otherworldly kind of music is the guys from Led Zeppelin were on line EARLY.. .well im off to Peru w my panflute
Yo! My all-time favorite Zepplin song. Off of my first-ever album. (Christmas in 4th grade. Thanks, Dad.) This is the song that got me to buy a bass when all my friends were buying guitars in high school.
"Squeeze my lemon, until the juice runs down my leg!"
I've seen Robert Plant 3xs at various stages of his career.. He's always been amazing. He's a rock god and can summon it at will. Keep on going down this rabbit hole.❤ I forget if you've checked out "Bring it on home""a true Zeppelin classic.

When alone in my car (so as to not traumatize my family), I always try to replicate Robert’s “Baaaaeeebe” at 4:27 😅😊 I fail, and that’s why I keep trying. 😅😊
My 1A and 1B favorite bands are Zeppelin and Tool. Good taste bro. They're just SO much better than every other band. Both bands, everyone in the band is sick at what they do.
John Paul Jones is one of the most underrated bass players of all time. This band just gelled!
That bass line is a mood indeed.

Thanks for more Led Zeppelin ❤
I ❤ the lemon 🍋 song❤ but is there a bad one? Noooo😊 it's a good day 🎉 your good Rx ❤ from this 🌎 bound misfit😂 oops different band😊 peace ✌️ Polo...
The weird thing about LZ is that Page and Jones being studio musicians, they write their songs like kids in the candy store of all music (watch out for Page's record collection in interviews filmed at home) and STILL the result is completely unlike the parts they took and altered. It is no exaggeration to say LZ is not just a band, it's a genre of it's own. That -imho- is what makes them so special, you can hold it against any other music and it will stand out for being different. As for Plant's singing, he sings like a guitar or harmonica would solo.
One of my favourite LZ songs, if nothing else because of the virtuoso performances from all of them and the wonderful changing rhythms.
Best produced, most enjoyable "reaction" creator on youtube.
There is No bad Zeppelin jam!❤️🔥😎🥰❣️
This is a creative cover of “Killing Floor” by Howlin’ Wolf which was originally released in 1964.
Oh yeah-glad you picked this…so many more❤
"juice runs down my leg" (8:00) is a Bob Dylan reference (or possibly vice versa?) Where Are You Tonight? (Journey Through Dark Heat)
JPJ and bonham make it so funky. Killing floor is an all time classic blues track that so many bands and artists covered it but Zeppelin tooktit to another level
I'm not a blues guy either, but the talent still shines thru., even if aint your thing. LZ had such a broad range there was something for everyone
This gives Jones time to shine. Like the whole song.
Yay! another Led Zep review by Polo! You need to review the entire 1st and 2nd album to get your mind blown. Just giving some great advice to you as a Zep fan since 1970. 😊
YES you can do music on a computer but a band on fire just playing, can't be appropriated. JPJ and Bonham were a fabulous RnB rhythm section
