I grew up Christian, Had my doubts since I was 4 asking my mom how a human could have powers like god or be god. and became agnostic when I was 13 and when I was 15 my best friend was molested by his pastor and then my same friend died in a car accident a few months later he was always a man of faith even after being taken advantage of in the name of God. I said I hated God I became bitter and depressed and anxious and went down the same rabbit hole with psychedelics and Buddhism and Hinduism and I learned a lot but I always felt empty I felt like I have yet to feel truth and true light I'm 23 now and been praying for like 5 months and a month ago I took mushrooms and I heard Arabian language in my head being sung and I bought a Quran about a week ago and it has changed me. I think what I heard was the Quran being recited after hearing it and I was shook. The Quran changed me as soon as I picked it up to read and it has brought me to tears more than once. All my confusion was gone and anytime I doubted, Allah would disprove my doubts no matter where I looked. It brought me to my knees. I cant wait to finish it and soon enough I will go to a Mosque and revert.

Salaam, I am an Albanian Muslim that grew up in North Macedonia, now in the US. What Bobby is bringing up is interesting phenomenon. You have two large ethnic groups of different religion living in the same land, yet estranged from each other for different reasons, and as result they don't know much about each other. In the case of religion neither side were practicing their religion, it was mostly something you were born into. A good amount of Albanians are now learning more and ,more about their own religion of Islam, thanks to well educated Imam's, and folks like Sheikh Uthman ( may Allah bless both this gentlemen) and are getting to know the beauty of it. I can't speak of the Orthodox Slavs and their understanding of Christianity now, but I believe what Bobby's saying is true, they really don't know Christianity. Hopefully things change, and all wake up to learn the reality and share ( give dawaa) of what appeals the the pure ,God-given logic and all the evidence of truth in Islam, where at least there's no hatred based on false perceptions. As- salaam Aleykum!

Hi guys, I am an Albanian and I honestly understand 100% what Bobby is saying here. We have that sort of mentality for hating muslims within our own country. If you see nationalists and certain Christians within our country you will see that their thought process is that Muslims are Turks and that they are the 'reason' why our country was seperated and divided/given to neighbouring countries. I have done a research on this subject and the further you dive the more you realise how much 'evil' the Ottoman Empire did to our country. I too got that idea until I stopped reading and started using my logic for a moment. We were under Ottoman Empire for over 500 years and we still maintained our values, stories, churches, traditions, LANGUAGE. What kind of 'evil' empire would allow a country to maintain their values for over 500 years. To still have churches around, to still have Christians around. To still have our cultural identity. I started researching the Americas history and the way that the Christians conquered that area, it's safe to assume that most of the native's traditions and/or language has been lost during these conquering. They have lost cultural identity, yet when we dive into the books and history we see this as not a conquer, but a settlement and the Ottoman Empire as a conquer and not merely occupying the place. If we compare them both side by side we can see the difference and the sort of propaganda behind these stories. Every side has their own side of the story and how the past went because it's their land and they decide what books to publish. Therefore we can see a difference in opinion regarding the past. Usually it's the victors who define who is good and who is evil and not even one will define themselves as evil, they always say that the other side is always wrong and we are right. As someone who is right in the middle and has no sides to pick I would much rather prefer to look at both sides of the coin before making a decision. Many people fail to do so because they would rather follow what the people before them did without thinking too much and just trusting their previous people. Others would just rather hear and follow what their leaders say. I have known muslims who started off from a muslim family and would leave the folds of islam because they were only in it because their parents were. They didn't put any though into the religion and the parents didn't really try to teach them about right and wrong, truth and falsehood. Everyone has to follow a journey where they need to discover themselves and the journey to discover the world. We are lucky enough to live in a time where we have the world at the tip of our fingers and we won't have the need to travel a magnitude of distance to reach a conclusion.

The main problem here is that Islam was there before the ottomans, one mosque in my village was build in 1217 the ottomans didn't conquer that area until the 15th century so to say that Albanians became Muslim due to the ottomans is wrong

One thing I wanted to touch upon that was said in around 06:45 mentioning how his Muslim friends said that what they were doing in regards to drugs is haraam and brother Bobby deemed them hypocritical. We have to understand that those brothers were aware and ashamed of their actions and did not try to shy away from the fact that it was haraam. They were not hypocrites, infact they are better than most because they had awareness of Allah and the fact that they were surrounded by sin they still remained believing in Allah. A muslim who is in an environment of jahiliyah and sin is tested more than one who is not. Allah chooses who can withstand the temptations and rests while he spares those who cannot. A muslim who has led a life of sin and experienced the dunya and still has imaan amd changes his ways and makes tawbah (which is only through Allah's will) is a better muslim than a Muslim who has never experienced what the dunya has to offer which are temptations and the desires of human nature. A sheikh who has grown up in a strong muslim household and is considered amongst the best of us may have totally lost his way and become the worst of us if he was ever exposed to clubs,drinking, women and drugs ect but Allah spared him and never put these tests upon his path. Imaan and Hidayah is all upon Allah and that can all be taken away upon his will. I hope I made sense and my message was understood. Salaamu Alaykum Warahmat'ullahi Wabarakaa tuhu ♥️ What is better ? To be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort ?
