Similar to your uncle, I used to be a punching bag for my mother. Hardly a day will pass without she beating me up. Some people think since they have given birth or raising a child they get license to vent out their frustrations on kids. Me too have blessed with caring and supportive husband.

may God bless your husband and your family forever. My advice would be to become neutral for your mother. No positive and no negative also. She doesn''t deserve to be in your thoughts even. Simply consider her as if she doesn't exist at all. Also, this doesn't stop here, when you see other kids being loved by their grandparents then again you will get into those thoughts, in that time you first need to be stronger and stand for your kids. Don't let your and your kid happiness dependent on the people who don't deserve your love.

Thank you, I have reached at a point in my life with the help of my therapist where I don't get affected by people from my past. Be it my mother, father, grandmother, uncle or anyone else. To me they don't matter anymore. 😊
